Welcome and about relatives[edit]

Hmm, you haven't been welcomed yet? well: Welcome to wikipedia! I hope you like it here and decide to stick around. Here are some useful links for beginners:

If you need help, just go to the two last links, ask an administrator (I'm not the best person to ask), or you can also add {{help me}} to your talk page (this one), ask your question(s), and someone will be with you ASAP.

Orchids[edit]

Now, about the relatives you've been adding in some orchid genera- they're really not needed. I started the Stanhopeinae article, and if anyone wants to see the relatives they can just click the Stanhopeinae link in the taxobox. Adding the "relatives" section to all the articles is not necessary, takes too much time, and clutters the page. I really don't know much about orchids, so please check out the Stanhopeinae article and fix whatever errors I might have made (ex:I noticed one of them was a subgenus and not a genus). Thanks! --TheAlphaWolf 14:04, 22 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mentor Graphics[edit]

Hi, Chounder!

You added a section to the Mentor Graphics page that looks like it was taken from a PR description of how the company was founded. Is this the case? If so, did you get permission to use it? It's looks too big to copy under 'fair use' unless you have explicit permission, in which case this should be noted on the page.

Also, it looks too 'public relations' like to be an encyclopedia article. It may take some calming down.... LouScheffer 17:01, 26 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Trevoria[edit]

Hello Chounder,

I'm a 16 French Stanhopeinae addict, I've been growing some of them for 5 years.

I'm looking for links in America to exchange about those extraordinary plants, scientific documentations, and possibly swap some seeds or other - I'm doing in vitro germination.

Here is my e-mail address : rtournebize@tiscali.fr

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
