Conversion therapy[edit]

Wikipedia is an extremely politically correct environment, and realistically there is a limit to what one can hope to accomplish here. Personally, all I have ever tried to do is to enforce BLP at articles about people who hold conservative or traditional views (especially about homosexuality) and to try to make them fairer. Though I have managed to make some changes, I have still found this overall to be an extremely disheartening and aggravating experience. I find it upsetting to be accused of various horrible things and to have my views misrepresented, and I'm going to stay out of the debates over conversion therapy, as this would certainly expose me to more of the same unpleasantness.
