I've set two assignments; one for Happysunshine and the other for Valce1. I've assigned Sunshine to participate in one peer review and Valce1 to revert some vandalism.
I wasn't adopted either, though a few editors from the start helped me out.
About the userpage...haha, it seems Tory likes it the way it is, so I'll be neutral. I guess by girly I meant too girly so as people won't take me seriously... but maybe they don't anyways. ;-)

Simply go to the user's page (the page of the user you would like to watch) and click on the little dot on the corner of your screen (best if you are under the monobook format, dunno if it will work on modern skin). When you deliver the newsletter, it is preferable to transclude it (by posting {{Wikipedia:WikiProject Formula One/Newsletter/200809}}) rather than copy-pasting the whole thing, as it uses much less data and only adds a couple of hundred kb to the page instead of several thousand.--Diniz(talk) 12:59, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Motto of the day[edit]

Hello, I notice you're using one of the {{motd}} templates, run by Wikipedia:Motto of the day. You may have noticed that some of the mottos recently have been followed by a date from 2006, or on occasion simply "Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia". The reason for this is that Motto of the day is in some very serious need of help. Participation in the project, which has never been especially high, has dropped considerably over this past summer, to the point we have had several days where no motto was scheduled to appear at all. Over the past several weeks, I've been the only editor scheduling mottos at all, but there aren't enough comments on some of these mottos to justify their use. If we do not get some help - and soon - your daily mottos will stop. In order for us to continue updating these templates for you, we need your help.

When you get a chance between your normal editing, could you stop by our nominations page and leave a few comments on some of the mottos there, especially those that do not have any comments yet? This works very simply; you read a motto, decide whether or not you like it, and post your opinion just below the motto. That's it - no experience required, just an idea of what you personally like and what you feel reflects Wikipedia and its community. If you do have past experience with the project, then please close some of the older nominations once they've got a decent consensus going. There are directions on the nominations page on how to do this.

Hi Chubbennaitor. I've just found this freely-licensed photo of Felipe Massa at this year's Malaysian GP. I can't upload it because the internet connection at my hotel is too slow, but I thought you might like to. Ummm, could you read the entire page on the Wikination (link above)? I became Queen approximately six days ago, after I posted a joke on the page when the King, Editor510, asked about what should be done next. I pretty much won the Queendom single-handedly, since no one else stepped up for it, hehe.
Right now, to contribute to the Wikination, just post something witty (like the comments you put on my page).

Well, I revert vandalism very often, and so vandals are bound to want to know who undid their edits. This sometimes comes at a price, however - my userpage, talk, and subpages have been vandalized 21 times. Yeesh!

Actually the tool doesn't show who viewed it, which is a bummer. And I've found that way more people have found my secret page than signed, which is a further bummer.

2009 Winter Testing[edit]

As I've said in the talk-page, this link of Wednesday quotes states "An R28 set up to simulate 2009 downforce", and the chassis-code below is that of a regular R28. "Set up to simulate" is exactly what Red Bull and Toro Rosso did, and most teams since last season's first test with slicks... Also, the McLaren with KERS was called an interim car by them - even earning a new designation..
With all that thing about citations - where's an interview, statement or article stating the Renault was an interim car? The McLaren may only be a KERS test-bed, but if they themselves called it an interim "MP4/23K", it's reasonable for us to call it an interim car... Plus, KERS isn't found on the 2008 MP4/23 - should that feature alone make it an interim car?
