Naming your articles

[edit]

Hello Cindy. Please have a look at Category:Foreign conscript units of Nazi Germany where you'll find a sort of naming convention for SS units and the like. I've already moved your article on the Romanian regiment No. 1 to an appropriate title so please consider using the English language way of naming when you create your next article. It would also be very helpful, if not mandatory, if you posted any of your sources for the articles. If there are any questions, feel free to contact me on my talk page. Please don't create any more articles with the brackets attached directly to the previous word as in SS(Italienische Nr.1)! Also, did you read what I posted above about the naming of foreign language military units? De728631 (talk) 20:06, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Hans Sandrock has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the prod blp tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. A few more tips

[edit]

Hello. Please consider adding "wikilinks" in the articles you create. That is, you can link certain words and phrases to existing articles on Wikipedia by adding a pair of two brackets around a word, like Franz Siebert. This will result in the blue links you can see all around Wikipedia pages or in red link if the linked article does not yet exist. It is common practice to link all country names at least once in an article. For examples, please have a look at some of the articles you recently created and which were improved by other editors.

Also, each article should be sorted into at least one category for reference. Currently you might want to place and at the bottom of the articles you create about such persons.

And what is most important, please remember to insert a space after each sign of interpunctuation, like commas, full stops and so on when you write in English. Otherwise other editors will have a lot of work to clean up your articles. De728631 (talk) 19:43, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, SS-Sturmjager Regiment (1st Hungarian), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello, Cindy Holland. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "SS-Sturmjager Regiment".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the db-afc, db-draft, or db-g13 code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 06:25, 17 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
