A tag has been placed on Tosan neavredith requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Mkdwtalk 06:46, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Classic Skull, and thank you for your contributions!

I wanted to let you know it seems an article you worked on, Tosan Neavredith, is copied from another Wikipedia page, Tosan neavredith. It's fine to do this as long as you provide the following information in the edit summary:

  1. a link to the article you copied from
  2. the date you copied it

You can do this now by editing the page, making any minor edit to the article, and adding the above information into the edit summary.

If you're still not sure how to fix the problem, please leave a message at the help desk. It's possible that I made a mistake, so feel free to remove the tag I placed on the article.

Thanks again for helping build the free encyclopedia! MadmanBot (talk) 11:41, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not for writing about yourself

[edit]

Hi. Welcome to Wikipedia, but it is not a place like Myspace or Facebook for people to write about themselves. It is a quite different sort of site, a project to build an encyclopedia, so it is selective about subjects for articles (see also WP:MUSICBIO), and writing about oneself is strongly discouraged, for reasons explained at Wikipedia is not about YOU and Wikipedia:Autobiography. The links in the Welcome message at the top of this page will tell you more about Wikipedia. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 12:09, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your first article

[edit]

Hi there. Welcome to Wikipedia. Please don't get frustrated at your first article not making it. Check out WP:Your first article for tips. For your musician friend that you wrote an article for, he did not have the level of notability that we require for inclusion on Wikipedia. For a musician or band to be included they need to be established and have done one of the things listed here: WP:MUSICBIO. Don't get discouraged, I hope that you choose to stick around and contribute in other areas. I would advise that you read up on some of the links at the top of your talk page. You will learn what is included and it will help your edits have staying power. Cheers. EricSerge (talk) 12:09, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
