Replaceable fair use File:Stwallfin36qf.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Stwallfin36qf.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

 1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add , without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
 2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 22:56, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:Aerosmith-Just Push Play-Frontal.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. FASTILYsock(TALK) 01:53, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Stwallfin36qf.jpg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Stwallfin36qf.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:

 • I am a bot, and will therefore not be able to answer your questions.
 • I will remove the request for deletion if the file is used in an article once again.
 • If you receive this notice after the image is deleted, and you want to restore the image, click here to file an un-delete request.
 • To opt out of these bot messages, add to your talk page.

File source problem with File:Paget-as-Emily-Prentiss-paget-brewster-10890734-197-304.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Paget-as-Emily-Prentiss-paget-brewster-10890734-197-304.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 01:56, 23 March 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Tabercil (talk) 01:56, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, Steven Tyler: The biography

[edit]

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Steven Tyler: The biography. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - :duplicate base article Steven Tyler. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at :duplicate base article Steven Tyler - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding hangon to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Prestonmag (talk) 22:05, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Steven Tyler: The biography requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding hangon to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ttonyb (talk) 23:37, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your addition to Steven Tyler: The biography has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. File:3787dsfertre.jpg has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message.

However, for textual content, you may simply consider rewriting the content in your own words. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Many of your other recent uploads have been deleted, as they were found to be copyright violations and not actually your own work. Please stop uploading other people's work, and then lying to say it is your own. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously; as such, you will be blocked if you upload another copyrighted image. File permission problem with File:Tour-Aerosmith-2010.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Tour-Aerosmith-2010.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

 • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
 • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as article name or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ɔ ʃ 02:18, 1 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Tyler biogjkio.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding hangon to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Authorship claims

[edit]

You have claimed to be the author of the files listed below. If you have uploaded a copyright violation and the copyright holder wishes to take legal action, you alone are legally responsible. The Mediawiki software keeps information about you which may be shared with lawyers.

Warning sign Files with doubtful claims of authorship may be deleted, and if you continue to upload files with doubtful claims of authorship, your account may be blocked to allow others to investigate your authorship and licensing claims.

Please help avoid unnecessary blocks and deletions by resolving this matter in one of the following ways:

 • If the works are indeed your own, please upload high-resolution original files (rather than images scaled down to "web resolution") and clearly label the source of the files as being your own work. Again, you are solely responsible for such claims.
 • If any of the files you have uploaded are not your own work despite your previous claims, please tag them with db-author, and they will be deleted by an administrator.

If your account is blocked, you will be unable to edit Wikipedia. In the meantime, please read the copyright policy to make sure the content you upload is allowed. The duration of the block may depend on the number of files to be verified and the findings of the investigation. File:EmiliaAttiasMartinFierro.jpg

Proposed deletion of Emilia Attías

[edit]

The article Emilia Attías has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

tl;dr: not really in English. Suspect this is largely a creation of Users I suspect of a FCoI and B)automatic machine translation - Eg. the Career section starts: "At the age of 12 she was discovered on the street and offered to make their first pictures as a model. Since then it stopped working and what could be won in the commercial finance their studies, their outputs, their singing and acting." I didn't try to verify RS or notability compliance. This article appears to exist in 8 other languages. Any polyglots wanna take a look?

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
