Welcome to Wikipedia![edit]

Hello Clown in black and yellow, welcome to Wikipedia!

I noticed nobody had said hi yet... Hi!

If you feel a change is needed, feel free to make it yourself! Wikipedia is a wiki, so anyone (yourself included) can edit any article by following the Edit this page link. Wikipedia convention is to be bold and not be afraid of making mistakes. If you're not sure how editing works, have a look at How to edit a page, or try out the Sandbox to test your editing skills.

You might like some of these links and tips:

If, for some reason, you are unable to fix a problem yourself, feel free to ask someone else to do it. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Wikipedia Boot Camp, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Wikipedia has a vibrant community of contributors who have a wide range of skills and specialties, and many of them would be glad to help. As well as the wiki community pages there are IRC Channels, where you are more than welcome to ask for assistance.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page. Thanks and happy editing, -- Alf melmac 11:03, 4 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The article you wrote, "A Singular Conspiracy", is uncategorized. Please help improve it by adding it to one or more categories, so it may be associated with related articles. A stub marker or other template doesn't count - please put in an actual category in the article.Eli Falk 11:49, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Categories[edit]

Hi. Please don't add categories that don't exist to articles. However if you think there should be a new category that would be useful, you can create such a category. Before doing so, please familiarize yourself with guidelines such as can be found at Wikipedia:Categories and the Wikipedia:Manual of Style. Note that your suggested "Category:Novels about Real People" has inappropriate capitalization; "real people" should be lower case. The category should be in a parent category-- perhaps "Category:Novels"; look around and see what would be most appropriate. Cheers, -- Infrogmation 00:26, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not repost copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder as you did at the article Sassanid Empire. Your previous contribution was removed for violating Wikipedia's copyright policy. Copyright violations are unacceptable and persistent violators will be blocked. Your original contributions are welcome and you may rewrite this article using your own words. See Wikipedia:Copyrights for details. Rklawton 16:15, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Madison Community Cooperative[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Madison Community Cooperative, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

only primary sources are offered, and not many

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notice

The article A Singular Conspiracy has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No sources since 2006, book was written by an author with no apparent notability of his own.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
