Draft: Oliver LaGrone

In regards to your draft, I'm commenting on your page rather than as part of the AFC process because I have lot of comments...

1. There are still a few places where it isn't *quote* finished. Search for " REFERENCE FROM MEMORY BOOK" and "REFERENCHis" and a few more.
2. It has a few areas where it isn't encylopedic, mostly in the personal areas. Particularly "Indian Territory in the American West offered a black man opportunity to be valued for his talent and work," and "This elegant man had touched many through his knowing spirit. Throughout his near-epic life he had focused on universals."
3. There are still a few places where you can combine the references out of "Time Walker" particularly page 23 and page iv.
4. The wikipedia page is at Pinyon pine rather than Pinion pine, If you've got references that use that spelling rather than Pinyon or Piñon, I'll help with making a redirect page.

Note, this Draft article is in better shape than 99% of those which have gone through the AFC process. I'm just trying to make it even better.Naraht (talk) 22:03, 27 May 2016 (UTC)

Status and Advice

I'm working on this article. Unlike academic writing, writing for WP requires attention to conciseness, and inclusion of only the sort of detail that people would expect in an encyclopedia It's a sort of specialized skill, andI have by ow 10 years of experience doing this to improve over a thousand articles here,soplease don't be annoyed if I remove or change some of your material. I'doing what I can, and intend to accept the article when I've finished with it--my normal style here requires several passes at it. . See the information at Template:Infobox artist. Copying within Wikipedia is the same as copying within any applications. On Windows machines, you highlight the text, press CTRL+C, go to where you want the text, and click CTRL+V to paste. Or you can ask for assistance at the article talk page: Talk:Oliver LaGrone. Please help me with completing an infobox for Oliver LaGrone. In the sandbox I've drafted an infobox for the existing LaGrone article, but. I don't know how to get a pix into the infobox, because I believe I've followed the directions, but the pix doesn't come up, only text that is not what I entered.
