Marudamalai moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Marudamalai, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) There are THREE spellings of Marudamalai in this article - the title, the timetable and the lede - and the place name does not appear anywhere in the lists of places in Coimbatore Division or Metropolitan area, so notability is really an issue, as well. The temple is notable, but already has its own page. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Copied from my talk page - the message was left for me because I had created the redirect over which this article was created. PamD 07:32, 3 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This West Zone reserve site details from Gov website talks about Maruthamalai.
The correct spelling can be "Maruthamalai". Please move that movie named Maruthamalai to "Maruthamalai Tamil film" or any other appropriate title. Corna2342 (talk) 08:41, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

https://coimbatore.nic.in/public-utility/bharathiar-university/
Address for these 2 universities says "Maruthamalai main road".
The name of the village is "Maruthamalai" and temple should be named as "Maruthachalamoorthy Swamy Temple" Corna2342 (talk) 08:42, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It's difficult to see which form of the name is commonest in English as different souces use different forms, but it looks as if it's probably Marudhamalai. Ingratis (talk) 08:38, 5 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
