Hello!

Heya! Firstly, thank you for your help with improving the 'pedia for the last couple months. I've taken a look at your vandalism reverts, and everything was looking totally good from what I've seen. It's quite heartening to hear that you'd also be interested in reviewing new pages!

I saw your proposition over at the village pump, and I can definitely see the mindset that you were coming from, in regards to extended-confirmed being the cut-off for reviewing. Hopefully you took some positives away from that, although a bunch of people were quick to add their own thoughts there. What I WILL say in regards to that suggestion, is that if you are interested in seriously getting "into the weeds" with page patrolling, a good start for this path would be potentially finding a mentor at WP:NPPSCHOOL that can help guide some of your early reviews. It's by no means a requirement per se, but going through the program is a good way to ease into making consistent, quality patrols, without the fear of having a bunch of editors hound over a mistake in real time.

Anyway, I guess my point is that reviewing new pages is a pretty important volunteer position. But, if you're interested in "taking the next step" into that area, it's very nice to hear! I'd potentially be willing to be a trainer for you later on, if that's something you'd like to do in the future. In any case though, thanks for your efforts so far! Wikipedia:Featured list statistics update

Hi, thanks for updating Wikipedia:Featured list statistics! How did you determine the number of lists? Petscan is giving me ~296,000, but it's frequently not working for that large of a category tree so if you have another method I'd rather switch to that! --PresN 01:58, 1 March 2024 (UTC)

Teratix and CosXZ: FYI, there is an issue on the talkpage notification, as that doesn't recognise the parameter "football". A question has been raised to fix this here, but doesn't look to have actioned yet. At the moment, we can either have it in the correct GA nomination category "football" or we can have the article history template on the talkpage listing it under "sports", but not both.
