Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Reservation figures
Hi, reservation quotas in India are not fixed in stone, are not all governed from the centre and are frequently subject to legal challenges. I have no problem with trying to detail the figures in the relevant articles but they need some context. If you can provide that then it would be great. Titles of Asana articles
Hi, thanks for renaming the dog pose articles. We actually have some more tidying-up to do, as all the Asana articles ought to have the same style, which is Sanskrit names all capitalised, and all without diacritic marks.
So for example, to fit the style, Adho mukha shvanasana should be Adho Mukha Shvanasana; and Utthita Pādāṅguṣṭhāsana should be Utthita Padangusthasana (however horrible that is to Sanskrit scholars, it's a lot easier to search for in lists). There is effectively a complete list at Template:Asanas if you open it in the editor, where you will see the assortment of diacritic marks on the left-hand side. - I am ok with diacritics as long as they don’t alter the actual spelling. Like svanasana with diacritic or c with diacritic miss the h, they are troublesome for the search. Otherwise it is ok. - Thanks for replying. The issue is the standard for yoga articles, and the MOS. They should all be styled the same, and the great majority rightly have no diacritics. I would be really grateful if we could remove the rest. I don't think we'll have any argument with reverters about the matter, but if discussion is needed with anybody we can supply it. - Well, you didn't attribute it, as you must - so how could anyone ascertain that? Regardless of that it still needs references - the majority is unsourced, and you need to establish that https://kodagu.nic.in/en/about-district/ and http://thevasathi.com/about_coorg.html copied from us, and not the other way around. I have reversed your recent undiscussed move of the newspaper's article to a new title. Note that The Telegraph, The Monitor etc are not redirects to Telegraph, Monitor etc. They are all disambiguation pages to (mainly) the newspapers with those titles. Since The Hindu is (by far) the main publication/subject with that exact name, IMO its article should stay at that name. You are welcome to start a move request if you wish and possibly the strength of arguments and consensus will favor your move but in any case the re-titling is not non-controversial. Cheers.
