E. B. Dimbulane Comment[edit]

In accordance with WP:POLITICIANS, Politicians who have held national or sub-national (statewide/provincewide) office, and members or former members of a national, state or provincial legislature are considered notable. Dan arndt (talk) 07:46, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The criteria talks about holding a political office at international, national or state/province level. I'm not really familiar with Welsh politics but I'd be inclined to assume that the Welsh parliament would be equivalent to state/provincial level, if not higher... You might be better taking this discussion to editors more familiar with Wales. Dan arndt (talk) 09:02, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

July 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Wikipedia:Teahouse, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page.

The kind of hyperbolic comment you posted is not helpful at all in a forum for new users. The Teahouse is supposed to be friendly and inviting. bonadea contributions talk 08:05, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your signature[edit]

  • Hi. Just to let you know that your signature - Cr@Z Kit-Kat Lovert@lk - is currently broken, as the talk icon does not direct here. It directs to a page which does not currently exist. As such, you need to fix the talk component of the signature so it links to this talk page, as shown here - [[User:Crazy Cat Person|Cr@Z Kit-Kat Lover]][[User talk:Crazy Cat Person|t@lk]]. Submit it without the nowiki tags to fix the signature. Thank you, Stormy clouds (talk) 10:33, 9 July 2018 (UTC).[reply]
This problem has still not been fixed, please attend to it asap. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 14:04, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Slow down this tagging[edit]

This (to take just an example) is way out of line. Unless you know something I do not, the {{coi}} tag goes against WP:AGF. {{fansite}} is flat out wrong. {{lead too short}} does not apply to stubs. Other tags are defendable, but most are redundant, and leaving a bunch of them is extremely aggressive.

Fixing paid/COI edits that distort the encyclopedia is a commendable task, but the statement on your user page makes me think you lack the cool head required to edit productively. TigraanClick here to contact me 11:24, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Cheap Flights Finder requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
