Please stop reposting personal attacks to User talk:66.102.80.212. These were placed by an abusive user as part of a content dispute; your continual reposting of this nonsense is vandalism. --66.102.80.212 (talk) 11:35, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

zeina awad

[edit]

why are you removing the content that i created? the list of zeina's work is important when considering her career as a journalist. connecting with her thru other methods is as important as referencing her official webpage. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Happyavocadogirl (talkcontribs) 13:09, 16 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You added 33 external links. Please read WP:EL.Cst17 (talk) 13:15, 16 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

thx for link. having a hard time with the first reference (i just added). can you take a look and tell me what i've done wrong with the code? the url is visible and linked rather than the reference's title--it looks wonky. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Happyavocadogirl (talkcontribs) 14:49, 16 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Czechia (one-word name of the Czech Republic)

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not replace pages with blank content, as you did with this edit to Czechia (one-word name of the Czech Republic), as this is confusing to readers. The page's content has been restored for now. If there is a problem with the page, it should be edited or reverted to a previous version if possible; if you think the page should be removed entirely, see further information. Thank you. 'Unfair accusation of vandalism!

[edit]

Unfair accusation of vandalism! Hello Cst17, It would seem you are accusing me of vandalism. I must stress that I never vandalise, and am merely making changes for the owner of The Dick Turpin Road Show for him. While you are most certainly doing your job, please can we straighten this out without any further problem? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.125.170.80 (talk) 18:31, 25 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Derek Llambias

[edit]

Hi, you have removed some of the facts on Mr. Llambias, unfortunately you don't seem to be up on the current situation at St. James Park. All that has been written is fact you would find on any Newcastle United fan site and in the oppinion of true Newcastle supporters not unconstructive. If anything the word rumour was not used enough before certain statements. I will endeavour to put the correct facts on this site, Thanks

Friendly reminder about talk page messages

[edit]

Hello. As a recent editor to User talk:66.102.80.212, I wanted to leave you a friendly reminder that as per WP:USER, editors may remove messages at will from their own talk page. While we may prefer that messages be archived, policy does not prohibit users -including anonymous users- from deleting comments from their own talk pages. The only talk page messages that may not be removed (as per WP:BLANKING) are declined unblock requests (but only while blocks are still in effect), confirmed sockpuppetry notices, or shared IP header templates (for anonymous editors) ... and these exceptions are just to keep a user from gaming the system. --Kralizec! Rollback

[edit]

I have granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe I can trust you to use rollback correctly by using it for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck and thanks. Pro-life/Pro-choice

[edit]

How can the term 'pro-choice' be acceptable but the term 'pro-life' is not? This double standard in unacceptable and does not belong on wikipedia. I can think of ways that both can be considered POV terms. They are either both in...or both out! You want to discuss the terms, well then let's discuss them...but don't warn me for vandilizing when I am not the one who's been undoing all the edits.24.37.126.33 (talk) 23:48, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am juist restopring the version of yesterday. Please discuss this matter at the Talkpage and do not start an edit war. Cst17 (talk) 23:49, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Fine I just did but to be fair you should perhaps warn the other person as well. I am being unfairly targeted and my edits are being erased for no sensible reason. I back up my sources and comment on the changes while the other user does not, yet im the one who gets warned.24.37.126.33 (talk) 23:52, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi: Would you kindly provide your opinion about the deletion review at Wikipedia:Deletion_review/Log/2008_July_3#Alan_Cabal for the article about Alan Cabal? Sincerely, Manhattan Samurai (talk) 14:42, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have given my opion. If so many people like him, there must be mediacoverage about him as a journalist. I would say userfy and reenter as soon as you have some of those independent references (an article about him in his own papers or magazine doesn't do it). And please don't take it personal if an article you like has been deleted, happens all the time.Cst17 (talk) 15:52, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I guess that will have to be the route to take: userfy and reenter. I was skeptical of the independence of opinion of some of the editors, several were from the previous AFD, and needed to have the opinion of uninvolved editors. Thanks! -Manhattan Samurai (talk) 16:10, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Aleatoric Music Therapy

[edit]

Please be advised the per WP:PROD, articles that have previously been proposed for deletion using the prod process are not candidates for prod. Accordingly, I have removed the prod tag from Aleatoric Music Therapy, which you proposed for deletion. I'm leaving this message here to notify you about it. If you still think the article should be deleted, please don't add the prod template back to the article. Instead, feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks! [edit]

You keep saying the article on my external links don't include the title or are only listing it once. If you wouldn't just Ctrl F the page and look at the page further (like in the photo gallery), you'll find more information there. And why do you have to remove the whole section if you had problems with just a reference link? Modenadude (talk) 21:15, 10 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have the whole article, Nightmare on Elm Street is mentioned nowhere, Tron only listed once. And if I have to go into a photo gallery to find some information, than the reference isn't really helpfull. Other question, you know so well what the correct spelling of the Magazines name is (Moving Pictures magazine), are you associated to it? Cst17 (talk) 21:19, 10 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Just for the record, you have inserted the link as as reference in 21 articles. Cst17 (talk) 21:24, 10 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
That's the spelling listed elsewhere on both that Wiki page and the Web site, don't need to do too much digging to figure that one out. And I fail to understand how information found in a photo gallery is not helpful? Either way, you still removed a couple sections I created about movies' remakes. But I don't want to restore them unless I know you won't go back and get rid of them again... I'm sure other movie fans are being affected by your aimless section removals Modenadude (talk) 21:27, 10 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Other question, why did you simply remove my contribution from your talk page when I first mentioned that I didn't see any relevant information, instead of answering?
I didn't know you were expecting to discuss it, let alone discuss it on my page. I thought it was just like a "heads up" kind of deal. But after you removed more than one section I decided to contact you on your page. But it looks like you completely ignored my question to you: when I put those sections (that are completely legal sections according to Wikipedia rules), will you then just remove them for no reason at all again? Modenadude (talk) 21:39, 10 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Why would you remove every single one of my revisions? You claim that the external link was not helpful, I disagree, but even if it were true, you removed edits that had absolutely nothing to do with the external link! What gives! Modenadude (talk) 21:52, 10 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, not sure where you've disappeared to, but I don't appreciate it. I hope that when you do return that you'll let me fix those things you erased. Let me know that you won't delete them again, see ya. Modenadude (talk) 22:56, 10 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

To add factual information to an article is clearly not a case of vandalism. My personal aim as a fan of Wikipedia is to improve the articles. After all, a diversity of viewpoints and opinions is surely desireable, and the only way this can be done is to listen to the views of the many. Hopefully we can be of assistance in your mission to increase articles. Hi, I saw your revert on this article, but perhaps you should reconsider. I think that anonymous IPs edits were at least partially justified, reducing peacock terms and removing some irrelevant info. I do not appreciate the implication that my legitimate attempts to redirect non-notable L&O episode articles are vandalism. I did nothing wrong in redirecting episodes that have been lacking reliable sources for, in some cases, well over four years. Rather than making false implications of vandalism and blindly undoing legitimate edits, maybe you should have spent the time looking for sources for the articles you undid and then, when you found that they don't exist, left them alone. Hi. I got home from work today and was happy to see that both a you and a bot came by the Rene Lalique page and reverted the a couple of the spam links/vandalism of the page which has been going on for several weeks. Anyway, as you can see from the history of the page, I reverted this spam link/vandalism many times. I also left a request on the discussion page for help and guidance from an experienced editor or admin, and I also left the spam warning with that code on the talk page of the new user and the IP that have been spamming links to that djllalique.com dealer website. Yet the spamming continues.

Of course, the IP reverted your edit and put their website back on the page again within a couple hours after you cleaned it up.

I really do not want to get further into this back and forth reverting if possible, and wanted to ask you what the next step is to try and stop this? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Patagoniaddd (talk) 23:23, 22 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You have just added a {{speedy}} G7 tag to this article, which is a request by an author to delete an article which they have created, and to which no other editor has made significanr edits. It would be great if you could make some constructive additions, instead of constantly being blocked. Cst17 (talk) 18:30, 4 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Vic Mignogna

[edit]

Hi, this is not a WP:rs - http://weaboostories.tumblr.com/tagged/VIC_MIGNOGNA - Here you replaced content that was unworthy of replacing please take care with replacing content - if you are huggle reverting you ar also responsible for all content you add/replace, . If you want to discuss there is a report at the BLP noticeboard, Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons/Noticeboard#Vic_Mignogna - thanks. Off2riorob (talk) 20:55, 31 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I just reverted a removal of content without comment. I also see that the content shouldn't be there. Cst17 (talk) 21:24, 31 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for looking and commenting. Although some users don't accept this position, I think its a very good position to take if later down the road anyone was looking at the historic. If some content is not in an article and you add it to the article it is an addition - although it is a revert of content removed without explanation the user that adds/replaces it when it was not in the article becomes totally responsible for it. - If a user removes something without explanation it is not a responsibility declaimer to replace it without investigation. Moral of the story, please take your time and if a user doesn't explain why they removed it, primarily assume good faith and investigate the content and if it is policy compliant then replace it, regards. Off2riorob (talk) 21:52, 31 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I mostly take the time to investigate in such cases, I am not a blind user of the 'Revert button', but sometimes a bad revert slips through. Have to stay sharp. Cst17 (talk) 21:59, 31 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please help with this article. An unregistered user is vandalizing the article after I have put numerous references. He just undid your edits.--XLR8TION (talk) 16:32, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Already taken care of. Cst17 (talk) 16:33, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
He reverted your changes again, however a ClueBot, reversed them. This guy is very stubborn and won't provide references that back his baseless claim. He will revert the article again, I am sure of that. Should I submit a complaint on the Edit Warring boards?--XLR8TION (talk) 16:52, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No need, he/she is already blocked.Cst17 (talk) 16:54, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thankyou - will try improving it

[edit]

However, Please try to stop the non sense below by other user:

The page Meher Baba is being vandalized by users like ConcernedVancouverite. The page is being edited with statements such as Cult Leader - which was never indicated or stated by Meher Baba himself.

Further, the user ConcernedVancouverite is including the same misleading statements in Don e stevens article, which is not needed

HIII

[edit]

I only disagree with the term cult leader as Meher Baba never declared, himself to be a cult leader in any publication. (Dragonbooster4 (talk) 18:18, 9 August 2011 (UTC)).[reply]

Could you leave this discussion on the talk page of the subject.Cst17 (talk) 18:20, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Glee (season 3)

[edit]

Hey, just wanted to say you're doing a great job reverting the edits to Glee (season 3). I've requested the article be semi protected, so hopefully an admin will be along soon to ease the workload. - JuneGloom Talk 22:09, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I saw your request, as I wanted to ask for protection myself. Maybe I should leave the article until it is protected, I have the feeling that at the moment I am just feeding the IP's- Cst17 (talk) 22:12, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

I suspect User:117.205.54.37 is a sockpuppet of User:117.205.48.214 along with several other IPs. An investigation is necessary.--1966batfan (talk) 15:42, 16 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Banjax

[edit]

I don't understand why you reverted my addition of the Japanese hardcore punk band to the Banjax disambiguation page but left the long-defunct British folk band. Surely anyone searching for Banjax today is more likely to be looking for the former. 99.122.168.208 (talk) 08:58, 25 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

There was no redirection to the band, don't know if they even have an entry in wikipedia. The British folk band has an entry. Cst17 (talk) 09:26, 25 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
OK. I reviewed Wikipedia:Disambiguation dos and don'ts. I'm not supposed to add an entry without a blue link, and I'm not supposed to add a red link, and I'm not supposed to add an external link. This policy seems to discourage the addition of new, relevant content to Wikipedia. 99.122.168.208 (talk) 20:47, 25 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"revert" abuse on entry "Walter Calinger"

[edit]

CST17 ... thank you very much for protecting the entry "Walter Calinger". I saw that you had warned the user "therealdude" for repeatedly erasing the entire entry without giving any explanation whatsoever. I am monitoring the entry as well.

I am new to wikipedia. I guess this is what is called "revert war"? Does this go on indefinitely, or is there a way to stop it?

Thank you!

Flake ice machine

[edit]

Why do you delete my links?

It should not be advertising....it is just our machine, our text, our photo, where can I refer to the company? This should be possible like other companies do as well! We are the inventor of this machine...you can read it everywhere! Go on our webpage chinaicemachine.com and see our impressum....Külinda Inc...formed by Jürgen Hans! More u can read in the article... so it should be possible to refer to our company! The leave at least this page...if not both...

Boston (band)

[edit]

Hi. I undid your revision on my edit. Now, understand I am not trying to get into an edit war, however I linked to the Offical Band Page bio for Jim Masdea, which was the change in question. Before you auto-revert it again, please explain why on the band talk page. Thanks :) Whitelitr (talk) 18:13, 13 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your revert on Dimitris Popovic

[edit]

Please note that if the creator and only contributor of substantive content blanks a page, as was done in this edit to Dimitris Popovic, that can safely be interpreted as the author wishing for the article to be deleted, and it qualifies under G7. A quick look at the history of this article would have shown that I was the only other editor on the article, and my only contribution was to add a BLP prod tag, which is not considered a substantive edit. I have reverted your revert and tagged the article for G7. I recommend you withdraw the vandalism warning you left on User talk:Ntesseras as well. —KuyaBriBriTalk 15:11, 26 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Same applies to OpenCloth and the vandalism warnings you left on User talk:Mmmovania. —KuyaBriBriTalk 15:25, 26 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Warnings withdrawn. Thanks. Cst17 (talk) 16:00, 26 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Artnet

[edit]

Hi I noticed you are removing links to Artnet. Please see my comment on the talk page of the Artnet page. Though this is a commercial website, it is valuable because it shows an indication of the works by selected artists on the commercial market. The last three works are shown without a need for a login. This is a reason to include it for lesser known artists whose works are not widely available. I also noticed you removed a link to a museum that has many works by the artist Jan Albertsz Rotius. The link clearly states that you must type "Rotius" to see the paintings. If you received a timeout that does not mean it is a deadlink. I just tried it and it works fine. I have no problem with you adding links to Pubhist, but please do not remove other external links while doing so. Jane (talk) 09:46, 13 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

And some thing on Simon de Vlieger - the link you removed did not work, but if you typed in "De Vlieger" it would pull up their records. I changed the link. Now I need to check what else you have been removing! Jane (talk) 10:11, 13 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Ok it looks like what you are doing is mostly good and I agree on your choice at Jacob Willemszoon de Wet. Please be careful though when deleting links to what may seem commercial websites, as you did recently with Rachel Ruysch. The Hoogsteder website is generally very high quality, but I have to agree with you that it is no longer easily findable with a persistent link, and so it's probably best to do away with it. For links to actual museums however, please don't delete them - just change it to a comment that the museum holds works by that artist, OK? Jane (talk) 10:28, 13 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I will not delete any more links to ArtNet, and check other links better, before deleting. Cst17 (talk) 11:42, 13 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! Jane (talk) 15:16, 13 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
