Warnings

[edit]

January 2007

[edit]
  1. Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Charles Csuri, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. cgilbert 18:46, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK,thank you! Can you do anything about the person who keeps deleting information from that page as well?

  1. Please refrain from repeatedly undoing other people's edits , as you are doing in Charles Csuri. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. The three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, please discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. This same warning has been given to 68.76.36.122. - cgilbert 19:36, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please note that I am not un-doing edits. I am simply re-entering my data which the IP user keeps deleting.

You have removed several user warnings from your user or user talk page. These warnings are not put on your talk page to annoy you; they were placed here because other editors have noticed an issue with your behaviour that may require improvement. They are a method of communication and user talk pages stand as a record of communication with you. If you do not believe the warning was valid or have a question about improving your behaviour you can respond here or visit the help desk. If your talk page is becoming long, you can archive it in accordance with the guidelines laid out here. Thank you. - cgilbert 23:36, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove other people's comments unless the issue has been resolved or their comment is no longer relevant to the current state of the article. With the exception of these scenarios, the removal of other people's comments is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. - cgilbert 23:36, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As a courtesy for other editors, it is a Wikipedia guideline to sign your talk page and user talk page posts. To do so simply add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comments and your user name or IP address and the date will be automatically added along with a timestamp. Signing your comments helps people to find out who said something and provides them with a link to your user/talk page (for further discussion). For further info read Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines. Thank you. - cgilbert 23:36, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at User_talk:Csuri, you will be blocked for vandalism. Also, please refer to the above warning(exclamation point in orange circle) about removing user warnings. - cgilbert(talk|contribs) 14:46, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
