Hi Cullen328

thank you for your valuable reply . yes, am trying to make it a good article but am stuck in where i do not know how to remove the bare URLs and add citations to make it a perfect one . could you help me to find out how to remove the bare URLs from the article? it will be so easy if you can send me the correct hypertext format to do it.thank you once again--johnsib (talk) 05:35, 27 August 2013 (UTC)

Thank you for your kind remarks. There are many ways to expand and fill out a reference that uses a bare URL. The easiest for beginners is just to manually add additional fields, such a publication name, author, title, date, publisher, city and so on. Any of these fields can be wikilinks, and can simply be separated by commas. We also offer a wide variety of citation templates, including large and small ones for books, news articles, scientific journals, TV shows, websites and so on. There are semi-automated tools that will do all or most of this for you, once you master use of the tool. I usually use templates, as shown at WP:CT. Please also see WP:REFBEGIN for referencing tips for beginners. More broadly, I recommend WP:PRIMER for overall beginning advice for new editors. The Wikipedia Library

Hey! I've done a major redesign of The Wikipedia Library portal. As one of our original volunteers, I'd love you to check it out, pick a role, create a profile to share your story and skills, sign up for the newsletter, and see how you can get involved. I'd also be interested in having a skype chat with you in the next few weeks to see how we can best put your energy to use (or email if that's better for you). Hope you're doing well, Ocaasi t | c 13:23, 28 August 2013 (UTC)

COIN comments

I'm going to send you an email after i post this.

You can look at my edit history, of course; while there are ebbs and flows, I have sent a reasonable number of wikilove and welcome messages, i think. But when someone starts to creep up to the line of "just posting resumes from people at the same institution" whether they are explicitly PR or not, that gets my dander up, especially in medicine where I have worked in some capacity, and intend to end up. There is plenty of literature out there, with which I am reasonably familiar, about the corrosive influence of conflicts-of-interest on the practice of medicine; i think the same can be said of WP, that CoIs are a corrosive influence. I have already seen plenty of egregious and obvious marketing behavior in this domain, and the more of those types of edit there are, the more aggressive we need to be in nipping it in the bud, just from a time-efficiency and limited-number-of-editors standpoint.

I also have made some guesses and independently researched this particular situation, and feel confident in saying that my initial hunch was probably correct, but i will say no more about it, for obvious reasons. you can either trust me on this or not, as you will. -- UseTheCommandLine ~/talk ]# ▄ 04:15, 29 August 2013 (UTC)

Gratia discovers penicillin

Dear Jim, Thank you very much for your comments. This was my first attempt at Wikipedia. it appears that it will be more difficult than I thought. I suspect that other Internet sites, such as Google scholar, Figshare, Mendeley will be a complicated. I believe a biography of Andre Gratia already exists. However, a parallel description of his life and Fleming's life, and why one did not and the other did receive the Nobel prize, does not exist. Thinking... This is so complicated. Thank you. Celine Szoges — Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.0.155.250 (talk) 18:13, 31 August 2013 (UTC)

Hello Celine. There is no biography of Andre Gratia here on English Wikipedia, which is what I was referring to. He is mentioned in several other articles, but deserves an article of his own, I believe. If the parallel description that you describe does not yet exist, then Wikipedia is not the place for it. We do not publish original research but instead summarize what reliable sources have already said about a topic. I hope that the distinction is clear. Download speeds in Cuba

Hi Cullen,

I am about to talk about a sensitive issue and am not much experienced so will make a few mistakes please pardon them. Do you know about the download speeds in Cuba, I mean I saw an user who wants to listen to music but can't so I will get the music for the editor, mail it to you and then you can mail them to her. Going through the users talk page I noticed there are some restrictions therefore not mentioning the name of the editor. This editors morale is a bit low and I want to contribute at least a bit from my part. I am not asking the editor directly as it might make the editor uncomfortable while answering it. Best - Sohambanerjee1998 19:48, 2 September 2013 (UTC)

Thank you for your kind offer, Sohambanerjee1998, and I am very grateful for your inquiry. Your offer is a kind one, but at this time, I am not able to send emails to this user. I do not fully understand the extent and details of her access challenges, but I do know that she has access to Wikipedia at work, but not to the broader internet. She can't use Google or Wikimedia Commons. She seems to have access to music recordings and popular film and TV shows from the wider world. but I do not know the mechanisms she and her friends use to obtain this material. I do not want to question her in any way. I accept the reality of her situation, and have pledged to do my best to assist her. One thing I know for sure is that she is not interested in discussing politics, either overtly or by implication. She is interested in improving Wikipedia, and in our coverage of the rock band U2 and the people and places and other musicians associated with that band, and her knowledge of that band is deep and impressive. She is also interested in improving her English language skills. She knows English very well, but not perfectly. She appreciates it when people offer language advice gently. She loves her country, which I understand because I spent two months visiting there decades ago, more time than I've spent in any other country besides my own. But she does not want to discuss politics. I accept that completely.
This editor, whose name we aren't mentioning, is a wonderful person with a heart of gold. I am doing my best to encourage her to function confidently on her own as an independent editor. I am always here for her, willing to do my best to answer any specific question, or offer words of encouragement. It seems to hurt her feelings sometimes that I think she can meet most of her needs on her own. She can ask me for help any time. But as her mentor, it is my job to encourage her self-reliance. My advice to you is to offer her friendship and collaboration. You will be rewarded. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 03:30, 3 September 2013 (UTC)
I think I know the user you're asking about, so why not ask her what her download speed is? Cuba is of course quite welcome to join us in the 21st century any time it chooses. Eric Corbett 20:01, 2 September 2013 (UTC)
Eric Corbett I would be happy to discuss that issue elsewhere, but not here, please. Thank you. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 03:35, 3 September 2013 (UTC)
Because she's a person with a heart of gold and the consequences she might face I didn't want to contact her directly but wanted to do my best in order retain such a magnificent user. The user lacked motivation therefore this gesture of mine, to help her cheer up. Thanks Cullen for the answer. I noticed the user in her talkpage saying the availability of U2 Songs is nil in Cuba so I though that I would collect the songs myself and mail them to her as the Band's activity is the users focal point at the current point of time and she would download them as Mail attachments but since you mentioned Google is blocked, I assume Gmail will be too. Cullen if you ever need help in this users regard in any kind just ask me. I'll be overwhelmed. Thanks Sohambanerjee1998 08:17, 3 September 2013 (UTC)
Hi everyone! I wanted to say thank you all of you for the kind words and the help you are offering. To answer Soham's question. I cannot download music, unless it is in a Cuban site. I do have an email address but it is not gmail or hotmail or anything that ends with .com. As for where do I get U2's music... I buy it digitally from people who have Internet access and who can download it. Sometimes I find the albums very cheap and sometimes they're very expensive, it depends. Oh, Jim... I didn't know that my knowledge of U2 was deep and impressive... I just know some stuffs :).
It's really nice to hear all those great things you said about me, Jim... really great :) Thanks!!
Again, thank you so much for your help and I will let you know when I am able to receive emails again. Best! Miss Bono [zootalk] 12:20, 3 September 2013 (UTC)

Got your message. Thanks. --NeilN talk to me 01:38, 5 September 2013 (UTC)
It was an accidental rollback, NeilN. The problematic editor has messed with several of the wikilinks on this list, turning valid links into red links. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 01:43, 5 September 2013 (UTC)
How about reverting to here?, removing the one redlink and adding the unreferenced tag? --NeilN talk to me 01:49, 5 September 2013 (UTC)
That seems better, NeilN. I have my doubts about the entire list and especially the inclusion of the Battle of Isandlwana, which was a battle between two armies rather than a massacre. But I am not an expert in South African history. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 01:53, 5 September 2013 (UTC)
Excellent point. Reading the article shows there were 1,000+ casualties on both sides so I've removed that as well. --NeilN talk to me 02:00, 5 September 2013 (UTC)

Electrocoin and Barx Wiki Sites

Hi Jim,

Sorry its been a while - I finally have what I think is sufficient sources/back up for you to create the Wiki pages for Electrocoin and Bar - X.

I cannot find the last correspondence in which I think you provided an email to send across the PDF'S of the articles, so if you can do this again that would be much appreciated. I may set up a drop box or something similar so I can upload as many documents as possible, so please let me know what is best.

I'm not use to the Wiki system, so if we can be in contact via email or even telephone this would be a lot easier - so If you can provide either or both, again it would be appreciated. As agreed I will make donations towards Wiki and your charity of choice, so if you let me know how many hours you have worked on the two wiki pages, I will gladly provide the equivalent of $8-10 per hour. Just let me know if you are ok with this or if you prefer an alternative.

Kind regards

New Update - I have created a Drop Box account with all the documents - Please let me know how we can move forward.

Many Thanks

Hi Jim,

Did you see my message earlier this week?

Information icon Hello, I'm Snertking. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Mel Sembler have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, you can use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Contrary to your assertion, the text you referred to was not WP:BLP, as this was a major scandal covered by numerous reputable sources including the st. petersburg times, huffington post and the washington post. see previous discussion on the talk page for the rational as to why this is not BLP

Hello Snertking and thanks for visiting my talk page. Do you really think my edit was vandalism? Vandalism is defined as "any addition, removal, or change of content in a deliberate attempt to compromise the integrity of Wikipedia. Examples of typical vandalism are adding irrelevant obscenities and crude humor to a page, illegitimately blanking pages, and inserting obvious nonsense into a page." This is a legitimate content dispute and my edit wasn't vandalism. Please don't drop vandalism templates on my talk page as I have never once vandalized this encyclopedia. I will abide by the consensus at WP:BLPN and I encourage you to do so as well. Thank you for your consideration. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 07:09, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
You blanked an entire section about a major news story covered by major reputable sources over the course of several years. Only the tutle had POV issues, the rest was not. It is not a privacy issue when the story was covered by the Washington Post, for pete's sake! You could have edited the title, but chose to blank the whole section instead. That was vandalism. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Snertking (talkcontribs) 07:28, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
I blanked it boldly in the context of an active discussion at WP:BLPN. That most assuredly is not vandalism. I contend that the section constitutes undue weight to defensive legal action taken against severe harassment over decades. We should not facilitate that harassment. Not everything mentioned in the Washington Post belongs in a BLP. Editorial judgment, human decency and consensus enter into it as well. This violates Sembler's privacy by revealing intimate details of a serious medical condition, namely prostate cancer. Some of the references such as HuffPo are opinion pieces not straight reporting. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 07:37, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
That was not even the section being discussed in WP:BLPN, the section being discussed was the UN compliant text. No mention of the medical pump warring at all in WP:BLPN until AFTER you blanked it. WP:BRD does not apply here.
The section is about the coverage of the scandal. No mention of how sembler illegally tried to have bradbury charged with larceny even though there is ample case law about items discarded in the trash no longer being the property of the original owner... no mentioning bradbury is a convicted pedo. Also no mention of the illegally disposed of classified state dept documents also found in the same trash by said pedophile trash snooper, also covered in the news, suggested by others to be added (discussed offline) but shot down by me as wp:undue) The point is that there was a big scandal, and it had major coverage. Nothing more. That is all that is in there, the gist of the scandal, and cites of the coverage. The man is a public figure and this got huge coverage. It is appropriate it be in the article.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Snertking (talkcontribs)
Hello Snertking. In addition to this discussion here on my talk page, this matter has been discussed at WP:BLPN, at WP:ANI and at WP:SPI. In all those venues, every other editor commenting agreed with my judgment, and not a single one agreed with yours. Accordingly, I respectfully request that you withdraw your unfounded accusation of "vandalism" against me. Thank you. 04:23, 17 September 2013 (UTC)

Majorfun (talk) 16:02, 19 September 2013 (UTC) Apparently, I was over-eager in adding and correcting the text on my Wikipedia entry about, well, me - Bernie DeKoven -

I've attempted to fix all the errors noted by Thibbs, but the flag still waves. And, frankly, it's a bit embarrassing. I learned my lesson. I've mea culpa-ed with abject humility and stuff.

I was hoping that you could take a quick look at my page and, if things seem OK to you, remove the flag (it makes me embarrassed just to refer anyone to it), or tell me what else I need to do to make it flag-removal-worthy.

Vicidial from sandbox to article

Hello Jim!

I would like to create an article about Vicidial, tried to find someone in the Teahouse specialized in software but didn't,
read that you concentrate on content creation and "Articles for deletion", and that is kind of what this article is about.
It started off that the user Rudolfmdlt (talk) tried to create Vicidial but it was deleted, here is more talk over at the user Deb (talk)
Decided to give it a shot to create the article, I was wondering, could you take a look at it before I try to go live? its over at my User:DomeDan/sandbox
Thanks in advance! DomeDan (talk) 12:08, 18 September 2013 (UTC)
Hello DomeDan. I looked at your article draft. I see a minor problem and a major one. The minor one is that your references are formatted in bare URLs. Those and any future references should be expanded into complete readable citations. Please see Referencing for beginners for how to do this.
The bigger problem is that I don't see the sort of significant coverage in reliable, independent sources that would be necessary to establish notability according to Wikipedia's standards. We are looking for coverage in respected publications with professional editing and fact checking. The company's own websites contribute nothing to notability. Other than that, I see routine directory listings exactly like other similar software receives. Wikipedia is not a comprehensive software directory. We have articles about software that is notable.
Perhaps there is significant coverage that hasn't been added to the article yet. If so, it is essential to add references to those sources to the article. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 01:05, 19 September 2013 (UTC)
Thank you for looking at this! I will take a look at the format of the references, should be an easy fix. But yes notability was harder than I though it would be, I found a few ones http://www.asteriskexchange.com/listings/481 and http://www.voipusersconference.org/2009/vicidial/ tried to find some info about the awards the software won but strangely cant find any, I will keep on looking, thanks again! DomeDan (talk) 13:19, 19 September 2013 (UTC)
The first is a directory listing on a site that offers downloads of the software. The second is a presentation by the founder. Neither is an independent source, so neither shows notability. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 15:04, 19 September 2013 (UTC)
I disagree, but I trust that your perspective is the one used by most people and is the one I should correct my article after. I've worked on finding references on notability and found two awards won by the software:
"Asterisk GUI client" is the former name of which vicidial evolved from. I've updated my sandbox with citations and the awards, do you think that would hold? DomeDan (talk) 10:47, 23 September 2013 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for that Cullen, missed it. Just a new article, impending rating on project scale, 2 DYK's. Boat loads of pressure. Just reminder your talk page needs archiving, tedious task to scroll down. Sohambanerjee1998 07:44, 22 September 2013 (UTC)

Hello Sohambanerjee1998. You are welcome. Please keep in mind that editing Wikipedia ought to be fun, or at least satisfying. Not "boat loads of pressure". There are no bosses here demanding performance, so where's the pressure? As for my lengthy talk page, a bot archives it regularly. I guess is it just a busy page. Sorry. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 08:00, 22 September 2013 (UTC)

I understand, Sohambanerjee1998, and I wish you the very best with your assignments. Let me know if I can be of assistance. This is a collaborative project, after all. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 08:10, 22 September 2013 (UTC)

Talkback on Teahouse: Plasma experiment

That's a valid point. It's a small enough experiment and a small enough field that it's hard to find totally independent papers--usually if someone's interested in doing a paper involving our machine, they get involved with us first, and then they're not really independent anymore. I'll hunt around and see if there's some really independent work that I just haven't been exposed to. I know we've done work to inform projects on bigger experiments, but I suspect most of that has happened through the senior faculty showing our results to people they know who make decisions on bigger machines--and I get the feeling that's how a lot of work gets done in plasma physics.

Thank you, Binksternet. We tour Pearl Harbor and Honolulu today, and our ship sails for Maui tomorrow, then Hilo and Kona on the big island, then Kauai. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 17:01, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
That's super cool, Cullen, I hope you are enjoying your trip. I f you have some free time, take a look at the interview with the Singpost, it is for October 2nd. Say hi to your family for me. Miss Bono [hello, hello!] 17:12, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
Pearl Harbor was high on my bucket list until I got a chance to see it in early February 2012. I took an extra day for touristy things while there working a gig. I started early so I would have as much time as possible: I saw the sun rise on the Arizona Memorial and I toured Big Mo. I also went through the Pacific Aviation Museum on Ford Island. The images linked below were ones I uploaded from that trip. Very satisfying for the WWII junkie in me! Binksternet (talk) 17:32, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
I only looked at the first photo now to save my battery. Cool. More later. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 18:33, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
We toured Pearl Harbor today, including of course the USS Arizona memorial, which we had visited 21 years ago. Seeing the USS Missouri (BB-63) was amazing, as it wasn't moored here back then. My recollection is that the Navy planned to moor it in San Francisco a couple of decades ago, but that fierce opposition by anti-war activists, some of whom I knew and liked, scuttled that plan. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 09:54, 28 September 2013 (UTC)

It would be very helpful to hear from you about now -- we so very close to putting this to rest. EEng (talk) 20:08, 30 September 2013 (UTC)

Vacations!

Hello, Cullen,

I hope you are receiving my emails and that you are having super cool vacations! :) Miss Bono [hello, hello!] 18:13, 2 October 2013 (UTC)
Hello, Miss Bono. The trip has been wonderful so far but I haven't had internet access when we've been at sea at night, and we've been busy with tours during the day. I will tell you much more when we return home. I hope you are doing well. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 18:20, 2 October 2013 (UTC)
Doing great, in the middle of a FAC review for Ali Hewson and working on several things at the same time. Tours are exhausting according my grandma, she toured Spain, South of France, Italy and Vatican City last summer. Wishing you luck and fun! Miss Bono [hello, hello!] 18:24, 2 October 2013 (UTC)
Your grandmother is correct. We are all exhausted at the end of each day. But we are getting a fascinating overview of the Hawaiian Islands. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 17:35, 3 October 2013 (UTC)
Cool! Miss Bono [hello, hello!] 17:40, 3 October 2013 (UTC)

Thank you

Thank you so much for your suggestion. I will pursue it. Lightbreather (talk) 04:30, 3 October 2013 (UTC)

You are welcome, Lightbreather. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 17:36, 3 October 2013 (UTC)

Re:Home

Yay! You're back. We missed you. I've never felt jet-lagged before - must be because I've never taken a plane to fly to the other side of the world.

Cannot you take even a day to get used to the time zone again?
The interview went really well. Thanks.
I have two super duper issues going on; this huge one and this -which I am updating + adding pictures +adding quotes from the book.
It's good to have you back! Miss Bono [hello, hello!] 15:24, 8 October 2013 (UTC)

Flow Newsletter

Hey Cullen328. I'm dropping you a note to let you know (or remind you) about Flow, the structured discussion system for Wikipedia that we're building. You may have heard about some of the longer-term vision for Flow in the past, but in the last two months we've been moving quickly to narrow down the short-term scope of the project, and we're keen to get feedback.

First: we've written up an explanation of the "minimum viable product" – the set of features that will be in the first, on-wiki deployment. Because discussions on Wikipedia are complex and varied, we're approaching Flow development as an incremental process of uncovering user needs for different types of discussion. The first release will be limited to a few WikiProject talkpages only, with the goal of testing out our first stab at peer-to-peer discussion functionality and improving it based on feedback from the WikiProject members who use it. If you've got any thoughts on the MVP, or on the philosophy we're trying to follow with this software, let us know on the Flow talkpage. If you know of a WikiProject that might be interested in testing this out, let Maryana know on her talkpage :)

Second: we're having a set of discussions around some experimental features we'll be trying in the first release. These include indenting and nesting of comments and comment editing. If you've got any practical thoughts on these, we'd appreciate hearing them. For background and feedback on the design, there are the ongoing set of design iteration notes, a Design FAQ, and a page for design feedback.

The software prototype is still in early development, and changing daily in small ways, with major goals updating every 2 weeks. If you've got comments about other bits of the software, we'll be holding an IRC office hours session in #wikimedia-office at 18:00 UTC on 17 November to talk about Flow as a whole, and fielding questions on the talkpage before and after then.

Third: this is a pre-newsletter announcement of a new WP:Flow/Newsletter signup page! If you'd like further updates, details, and requests for input, please add your name there.

Thanks, Quiddity (WMF) (talk) 19:49, 15 October 2013 (UTC)

Due to multiple-human-error (the best kind of error!) the Office Hours meeting was announced with the wrong month. The logs for today's (quiet) meeting, can be seen at m:IRC office hours#Office hour logs.
The updated time and date of our next IRC office hours meeting is: 18:00 UTC on 24 October. Thanks, and sorry about the mixup. Quiddity (WMF) (talk) 21:34, 17 October 2013 (UTC)

Fidelity & Guaranty Life

Jim, I'm sure you can tell I'm new to Wikipedia. Thanks for the feedback on the Fidelity & Guaranty Life page. We want solid factual, information about our company to appear if people search for us, but not to market our product. Do you have any good examples of companies you can point me to that have approached this goal the right way?

One specific question: Our attorneys (and regulators) always want us to be very, very specific about the legal entity writing insurance. For instance, standard required disclosure on all materials from our company that reach the public require language like this: "Fidelity & Guaranty Life is the marketing name for Fidelity & Guaranty Life Insurance Company issuing insurance in the United States outside of New York and, in New York only, Fidelity & Guaranty Life Insurance Company of New York. Each Fidelity & Guaranty Life company is solely responsible for its contractual commitments." We hate it, but get required to put it somewhere. Does this type of verbiage trip the "marketing language" wire within Wikipedia guidelines?

Thanks in advance, Paul Pauldtyler (talk) 15:52, 24 September 2013 (UTC)

Hello Pauldtyler. That type of legalese is not encyclopedic, and I urge you to re-think what a Wikipedia article is and is not. You say it is required on "all materials from our company", but a Wikipedia article is not from your company, it is about your company. No one owns or controls a Wikipedia article and any article can be edited by anyone at any time, as long as the edits comply with our policies and guidelines. The article should summarize what independent sources say about your company, not what your company says about itself. It should be written in neutral, disinterested language and should have no marketing or advertising tone whatsoever. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 19:34, 24 September 2013 (UTC)

Thanks, Jim. Learning. I put in COI declaration. I'm really only trying to get facts and numbers up to date. Insurance stats are complicated. Unless you suggest otherwise, I'll take another pass with your comments in mind later this week. Paul Pauldtyler (talk) 20:38, 24 September 2013 (UTC)

Pauldtyler, by far the biggest shortcoming in the article right now is the lack of references to independent, reliable sources. I recommend that you address that first, by posting suggested sources, properly formatted, on the article's talk page. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 20:45, 24 September 2013 (UTC)

Jim, I pulled a series of links from articles that best explain recent company events. I think the formatting is current. I posted them to the talk page of Fidelity & Guaranty Life. Can you tell me if these are acceptable? Thanks, Paul. Pauldtyler (talk) 13:56, 28 September 2013 (UTC)

Jim, I went ahead and tried to find and insert references for a large percentage of the statements on the page. When you have a moment, can you take a look and let me know if this reflects your suggestions? Thanks in advance, Paul Pauldtyler (talk) 02:52, 18 October 2013 (UTC)

Certainly, the referencing is greatly improved, Pauldtyler, and I appreciate your efforts. I did notice that reporters names are missing, for example, in the New York Times references. Also, the "Business" section is largely unreferenced. Every significant assertion should be referenced; otherwise, the article is based on your personal knowledge, rather than what reliable, independent sources say. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 03:14, 18 October 2013 (UTC)

Now that the U.S. government shutdown has ended, EEng, the next crisis is the "waste of bytes" Tendentious, much? Cullen328 Let's discuss it`
See WP:BYTE P.S. If in fact there's no law against dingle srntdnce paragraphs [2] then there should be. See WP:NODINGLESRNTDNCEPARAGRAPHS. I really don't want any argument about this. EEng (talk) 04:37, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
I really and truly promise, EEng, that I was trying to proofread the typos in my edit summary when I accidentally hit "save". If I humbly beg for forgiveness, will you grant it? Or do I have to go, hat in hand, to some grumpy admin to have the whole mess revdeled? Cullen328 Let's discuss it 04:46, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
All is forgiven. Glo, Nintendo more. EEng (talk) 05:03, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
Thank you, "Jesus". Two of my pet peeves: Android spell check, and the inability to edit a Wikipedia edit summary. A third: people who think that Wikipedia is a place to get an axe sharpened. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 05:10, 18 October 2013 (UTC)

Is it "axe" or "ax"? Is it "grey" or "gray"? Is it "restroom" or "loo"? I prefer axe. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 05:40, 18 October 2013 (UTC)

Happy Memorial Day!!

Cullen thank you do much for your helpful feedback the Beatrice Thompson page! This is my first time posting (obvious hung lol). I'm probably responding in the wrong place here, if so I apologize. I don't know if you celebrate Halloween but... Happy Halloween!

Hello Cullen328, Miss Bono has given you an lovely bat, to wish you a Happy Halloween! You see, these things promote WikiLove and hopefully this has made your day better. Spread the WikiLove by giving someone else an Irish Leprechaun! Enjoy!

Disambiguation link notification for November 1

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited A Thousand Times Good Night, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kabu (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Women in Science

Hello Jim, I am very sorry to write back so late, as you left a note on my page back in March. Since then, I haven't learnt much more about how to edit Wikipedia (lack of time, mostly), but if you are still interested in participating, let me know. We have a list of names that still must be added to the site and accompanying autobiographical articles by these women that could help create stubs, at the very least. I am not quite sure how to share these over Wikipedia, but I have asked a friend to help me figure it out. Let me know! Rascouet (talk) 15:53, 6 November 2013 (UTC)
