Hello Curbon7. Thank you for reviewing the draft. Could you please explain your reasoning behind declining. I note the coordinates of the river, its existence can therefore easily be verified. It clearly passes through notable sites. There is one other reference. What more do you need? Jabbi (talk) 21:49, 29 October 2020 (UTC)

@Jabbi: Per WP:GEOLAND, I have adjusted my review to remove the notability threshold, as "named natural features are often notable, provided information beyond statistics and coordinates is known to exist." If you manage to get one or two (preferably two) more valid sources, then the article would most likely be accepted. Curbon7 (talk) 21:56, 29 October 2020 (UTC)
@Curbon7: Grand. I've added two independent sources and resubmitted. I'd be grateful if you could approve. FYI I am focusing on the history of the place and recently posted The Cardross Case. I intend to post about Moore's Bridge, which Kilmahew Burn flows under, as well. Jabbi (talk) 22:07, 29 October 2020 (UTC)

Hi! :) Could you please explain how Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah is notable? Thanks. Snowycats (talk) 04:50, 30 October 2020 (UTC)

@Snowycats: Al-Sabah is the incumbent ambassador to the United States from a major nation. Per WP:DIPLOMAT, diplomats and ambassadors generally fall under the same basis as WP:NPOL, which shows he's notable because "Politicians and judges who have held international ... office." Hi, I tried filling in more details about Nairo's recent response to the sexual misconduct allegations, but I see you flagged them as redundant. I'm new to actually editing Wikipedia articles - can you explain what about it was redundant/what I could fix to make a better edit? (Unsigned post by User:JacobFM)

@JacobFM:I'm sorry that was my mistake, I didn't see how much you added. The Wikiedit viewer is a little buggy right now, so I couldn't see everything you added after "On October 28, 2020." You should re-add it so another reviewer can check it out. Again, my apologies. Curbon7 (talk) 20:32, 30 October 2020 (UTC)

New Revision of Draft:Docusearch

Hello Curbon7,

I've worked on the draft of the Docusearch article and resubmitted it for review. I eliminated most of the issues that didn't comply and have attempted to comply with the topics that might interest the Wikipedia readers as the company has had a considerable impact on the forming of online privacy laws as a result of high profile litigation. Looking forward to your response. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:DocusearchWiki Arcanum (talk) 22:23, 2 November 2020 (UTC)

Unfortunately I don't understand why the release of the article Slanted Publishers was rejected. I don't see any sections in the text that sound like advertisements or exaggerations, because the facts are all proven. Could you please tell me specific passages that should be changed? Thank you very much in advance! Julia Kahl (talk) 08:55, 6 November 2020 (UTC)

@Julia Kahl: The amount of material listed on the publications section that (mostly) derives from one single source. Any inline content should be limited to significant (financially or culturally) material, and others would be covered under a blanket external link at the end. Curbon7 (talk) 09:02, 6 November 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for your answer. In the in the German version our publications were listed as follows: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slanted_Publishers. Can I take the listing and that would solve the problem? Julia Kahl (talk) 10:15, 6 November 2020 (UTC)

Request on 17:13:08, 8 November 2020 for assistance on AfC submission by Silminuto

Hi, Thank you for your message. I don't really understand how my sources cited as references are considered not reliable when they are interviews directly with the subject himself and the majority of information provided in my article came from Ryan Pulford's mouth himself. Can you please advise what would be considered an acceptable reliable source for an up and coming artist who has music released across the world? There is very limited information available about him due to him being that he is just launching his career in the music world but has notable contributions already. Thank you for your help.

Silminuto (talk) 17:13, 8 November 2020 (UTC)

@Silminuto: Primary sources, like interviews, are not considered valid sources, per WP:RS, especially considering the fact that this is a WP:BLP. The basis of referencing for this particular draft is all primary sources. Curbon7 (talk) 19:06, 8 November 2020 (UTC)

Copy edit tag

Hi there! Just a friendly, quick ask - Could you add a reason to your edit summary when you tag articles for copy editing? I personally find the copy edit template to be a bit broad, so I usually look at the edit summary to see which parts or concerns there are for copy-editing (like if the tone needs to be more formal, or if there are grammar mistakes, or the layout/order of sentences is messed up, etc). The "Reason" section in Twinkle should allow you to quickly add one, if speed is a concern. Thanks :) - Whisperjanes (talk) 20:24, 8 November 2020 (UTC)

@Rocpar: This is the tool used to detect the issues with the link to your article: [1]. The violation is with the second half of the "early life" section. You tagged the draft as a copyvio

{{db-g12|url=nsifoundation.com/graphic-design|url2=nsifoundation.com/exhibitions|url3=nsifoundation.com/foundation-3|oldid=982248698}}

When the db-g12 template is rendered, because the URLs lack the https:// (or http://) component, it doesn't link to the copyvio tools. Is this an AFCH problem that needs fixing, or something I should be pointing out to you for future reference?

{{db-g12|url=https://nsifoundation.com/graphic-design|url2=https://nsifoundation.com/exhibitions|url3=https://nsifoundation.com/foundation-3|oldid=982248698}}

Thanks, Cabayi (talk) 14:37, 12 November 2020 (UTC)

@Cabayi: Hm, well if it's an issue on my end I don't know what I could do to fix it. This seems to me to be an issue with AFCH itself. Luckily it doesn't seem to be that big an issue since the URLs still appear in the template. Curbon7 (talk) 22:30, 12 November 2020 (UTC)
@Cabayi: I figured it out by the way. You were correct that I have to manually insert the https:// www. component, as the AFCH does not transfer it directly to the CSD template. Curbon7 (talk) 00:59, 17 November 2020 (UTC)

I made some edits--but I don't think there is much worth saving. I can't find a single reliable source to prove anything in the article (and I had to block the editor, for their username). It's a real shame, since the man's life seems to offer a valuable illustration of Kenyan independence and all its problems. Drmies (talk) 23:33, 14 November 2020 (UTC)

Dear Curbon7,

What would I need to change in my draft, as I don't see any clear obstruction?

MichaelJunes (talk) 13:58, 15 November 2020 (UTC)

@MichaelJunes: Phrases like "they've gained recognition from some of the biggest names in the industry" unnecessarily MOS:PUFF the subject. Try to rephrase that sentence in a different way to make it more neutral, per WP:NPOV. Additionally, primary sources like interviews, as you quoted, are generally not considered reliable, per WP:RS. Curbon7 (talk) 22:46, 15 November 2020 (UTC)

Dear Curbon 7, I changed it now.

I removed your speedy deletion notice, and left the following notice:

The problem was apparently the bio. The reviewer thought it was from Grace's Guide; but the page at Grace's Guide is a copy of the obituary at 1916 Iron and Steel Institute: Obituaries p. 364-365 You need to specify this at the article. in a footnote.

MINREF drafts

Hi, regarding your AfC declines here and here, there are two inline citations in each draft that I believe meet WP:MINREF. Can you elaborate your rationale? Eagles 24/7 (C) 18:14, 16 November 2020 (UTC)

I should have declined for notability on WP:NATHLETE, as neither of the two players show notability per WP:NGRIDIRON, instead of for WP:ILC. My bad. Curbon7 (talk) 22:29, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
They each meet WP:NGRIDIRON, however (and I believe you're referring to WP:NSPORT instead of WP:NATHLETE here). Eagles 24/7 (C) 23:51, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
@Eagles247: Oops meant WP:NSPORT, you're correct. As far as WP:NGRIDIRON, "Have appeared in at least one regular season or post-season game" does not appear to be satisfied. Curbon7 (talk) 00:35, 17 November 2020 (UTC)

The only part of the submission that references the wiki is dates of birth and death. Other sources are NY Times and al.com (formerly The Birmingham News) which I believe do meet standards. If I remove the dates and wiki reference, would the submission be acceptable?

PogVim (talk) 01:19, 17 November 2020 (UTC)

@PogVim: The subject is notable, but we can't link to material that can be openly edited by anyone, per WP:RS. This runs the additional risk of WP:CIRCULAR referencing. I'll help you out though since I appreciate that you took the initiative to ask me: I found some newspaper articles you can use for further reference [3] [4] [5] [6]. Question regarding speedy deletion tag

Hi,

I'm looking to determine why my recent article Draft:American Music (novel) was tagged for speedy deletion. Potential copyright infringement was cited, but I'm uncertain as to which part of the article was problematic. Was it the cited quotes from book reviews, and if so, is there another way that you would recommend I cite them? Thanks for your help.

112abc (talk) 19:15, 17 November 2020 (UTC)

@112abc: The original draft of this subject was deleted because the majority of the page, not even counting the review part, was copied from the product's Amazon page. This tool can be used to see if you've violated any copyright as it's the tool we use for reviewing: [7]. As far as the quotation portion goes, you are allowed to use direct quotations as long as they are properly sourced. However, in the original draft this section was again copied directly from the Amazon page. Please see WP:COPYRIGHT and WP:CV for more info on copyrights on Wikipedia. Curbon7 (talk) 23:21, 17 November 2020 (UTC)

@Philipwinters1: It is important to note that, since your username is the same name as the name of the band's frontman, we can make a reasonable assumption and note that there is a significant conflict of interest. Wikipedia takes COI cases very seriously, and generally those that are accepted go through extensive re-writing beforehand. Additionally as far as I can see, your band is not notable, per the guidelines at WP:NBAND. Lastly, if your band is truly notable it is likely that someone else will make the article for you; suffice to say that the Wikipedia article on the Beatles wasn't started by Paul McCartney. Thanks, Curbon7 for addressing the details about this article. I think I have picked up a future release event which doesn't have much notability. Will try for the released one which would have many coverages & good notability.

Thank you.

Kalari Poothara (talk) 08:33, 1 December 2020 (UTC)

@Kalari Poothara: The Malayam Wikipedia article was only created about a week ago so I'm not going to make a judgement call based on that. However, the draft you submitted has several glaring issues, most namely the fact that I can barely understand it. Since this is the English Wikipedia, pages should at least be somewhat understandable in English. If you want to improve this article, here is what you need to do: pull content from the Malayam Wikipedia article into Google Translate and put the translated info into the draft. This will make the page comprehensible enough that we can make a judgement to determine if the subject is notable or not, using the guidelines at WP:GNG. Additionally, if you want to cite the book, all you need to do is use the inline citation tool. Curbon7 (talk) 10:58, 1 December 2020 (UTC)

This is the translated version of malayalam wikipedia.

The Kanaran Gurus, Kottakal (1850-1941), the great Kalaripayat Guru known as Dronacharya of Kalaripayatut, who recovered Kalaripayat after the British banned Kalaripayat (1793). [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]

He is also known as the Kottakal Kanaran Gurus, Malol Kanaran Gurus, and Maram Veetil Kanaran Gurus, who played an important role in the survival of the art in the dark period of the Kalari culture from the pre-independence period of India. [6] [7] [8] [9]

Kanaran Guru, who lived like a bride, was born and raised in the Kottakal Maram house to the youngest son of the great Chekavan. Later, due to some family reasons, he moved to Mukkali, where his sister - in - law's house was located. Kalari techniques were mastered. Thulunadu traveled to distant places, including Andhra Pradesh, where he mastered the art and techniques of the college. The unmarried Guru sold up to 250 acres of his family's land for the expenses of these trips. [10] [11] [12] [13]

Due to his extensive travels and association with various gurus, the Kanaran Gurus became proficient in six different pita practices, so he was later able to integrate extensive practice and subject his disciples to different disciplines in different locations, [14] [15] [16] [17]

After his training, the Kanaran Gurus returned home and approached the King of Kadathanadu, revealing his importance in conducting a Kalari and declaring that he was better than any other Guru in the area. But during the British ban, the king did not allow a new college to be built in his area. With that, he entered the northern land. The Kanaran Gurus conducted the first college at Champatte Chamberi Param near Thalassery. The main disciples of the temple were Valangad Kunjikannan and Chamberi Kunjikannan Gurus. [18] [19] [20] [21]

Later, CV Narayanan Nair's father was responsible for the college training at Kariyil in Murkothu Param, Thalassery, and in the yard of Champadan's house and Math. Among those who studied there were CV Narayanan Nair and his elder brother CV. Karunakaran Nair, Anajan Balan Nair, Sajayan, and RV Ananthan Nair were prominent. At the invitation of Mattannur, the Kanaran Gurus also inspected the gallery conducted by CV Narayanan Nair. The college was closed for two years. [22] [23] [24] [25]

It is believed that the Guru died at Mukkali due to a stomach ailment.

Hope you understood. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kalari Poothara (talkcontribs) 14:40, 1 December 2020 (UTC)

@Mmmm1362: @Theroadislong: Refer to your previous discussion at User talk:Theroadislong. He even gave you examples of which sources were unreliable. Curbon7 (talk) 03:12, 7 December 2020 (UTC)

Following your advice, I have removed unreliable sources now. Mmmm1362 (talk) 12:22, 7 December 2020 (UTC)

I have reported the conduct of the originator of the article at WP:ANI. Robert McClenon (talk) 04:15, 7 December 2020 (UTC)

FYI. I mention your edits here (and in the edit summary):

I don't think the ping worked. --David Tornheim (talk) 05:40, 8 December 2020 (UTC)

It did. Curbon7 (talk) 06:36, 8 December 2020 (UTC)
Thx for letting me know. It looked like only one of three pings worked--I thought that strange. --David Tornheim (talk) 06:58, 8 December 2020 (UTC)

Please let me know what is the copyrighted material I need to remove and I will do so. I definitely did include the reference there. How do I get back all the work I already did on the Stefano Harney page?

Olamina (talk) 16:19, 9 December 2020 (UTC)

@Olamina: Wikipedia cannot accept material directly copied from a copyrighted source, even if they are cited. You should read Wikipedia's copyright policies, found at WP:COPYRIGHT and WP:CV. Additionally, per WP:REFUND, any page deleted per WP:G12, which is the criteria for copyright, cannot be restored. Curbon7 (talk) 01:17, 10 December 2020 (UTC)

Can you accept my wikipedia article Draft:Trans-Saharan slave trade?

I submitted my article on the Trans-Saharan slave trade, and you rejected it saying that it is best be merged with the article at the Arab slave trade. However the article on the Trans-Saharan slave trade also includes information on Garamentes and Romans, so merging it with the article on the Arab slave trade makes no sense. Perhaps if it is too short someone could later expand on the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ibrahim5361 (talkcontribs) 05:05, 10 December 2020 (UTC)

@Ibrahim5361: While the topic is notable, I'm not sure it warrants a new page in its current state due to the lack of unique content (as in, content that is not yet in any other page). Instead, I would recommend adding content to other similar pages, such as Trans-Saharan trade, Slavery in ancient Rome, Arab slave trade, and Slavery in the 21st century, among many other articles. However, the good effort is appreciated! Curbon7 (talk) 09:42, 10 December 2020 (UTC)

Curbon7, I thank you for your help with this article. I have tried to put a direct link in the category "Lists of ancient Indo-European peoples and tribes" but the article still don't show there. Can you help me with this issue? Bird Vision (talk) 13:31, 10 December 2020 (UTC)

@Bird Vision: Done. Also, WP:HotCat is a very useful tool for quickly adding categories to pages. Just follow the instructions on that page. Curbon7 (talk) 23:52, 10 December 2020 (UTC)

Curbon7, thank you very much for your help and information!--Bird Vision (talk) 11:44, 11 December 2020 (UTC)

Hi, Curbon7, I removed linkedin and filmmaker's website previously used for citations. I also re-worded and cut the draft to comply with the neutral tone criteria. Please, let me know if anything else needs to be done.

--Beltroad714 (talk) 19:23, 10 December 2020 (UTC)

Hey there! Thanks for taking a look at my article so quickly. I wanted to ask about potential of an different merge than the one you proposed on my decline note. The University of Victoria page has a section on the Transgender Archives at the University of Victoria (which is short but well done) and the Transgender Archives have its own page separate from it. As both the chair and the archives are connected, I was thinking it would make more sense for the info in the UVic page to be placed in the page on the Transgender Archives page, and maybe move the Chair in Trans article to the UVic page? That way they link together, and the info about the trans archives are not repeated twice on the same page (as the Chair in Trans article does mention the Archives). let me know!:) Wrenhawke (talk) 05:55, 11 December 2020 (UTC)

@Wrenhawke: I inserted a main template in the University of Victoria article to Transgender Archives at the University of Victoria. You can add the content of your draft into the Archives article. Curbon7 (talk) 06:06, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
@Curbon7 Great! Thanks so much :) Wrenhawke (talk) 06:09, 11 December 2020 (UTC)

Thank You!

Hello Curbon7. Thank you for your quick review and approval of my draft article on Karl Linder. I greatly appreciate your consideration of the issues I presented in response to the initial declination by the original reviewer. Best regards from a fellow UMie, class of '72. Historybuff0105 (talk) 16:41, 12 December 2020 (UTC)

@Historybuff0105: No problem! Also, I tried to see if I could import the picture of Linder that is on German Wikipedia to Wikimedia Commons, but sadly that German copyright license isn't valid in the US, and there was no picture of Linder in the Federal Archives. Hi Curbon7,

You recently declined a new page I created for the artist Uri Aran.

Just wanted to let you know I added some more content to the draft and, more importantly, some more references from well known sources (such as the New York Times and South London Gallery).

I would also like to point out that this page was created with some inspiration from Aran's colleagues represented by the Rivington Arms. As you can see there, this page for Aran does not fall short in comparison to the pages of any of these artists in terms of variety, independence and reliability of sources.

I hope you will consider approving this page or at least help me understand what more can be done on my end to have it approved.

Thanks! Neta

I am asking for assistance because of my (attempted) article for Draft:Umar Johnson. I was told that it wouldn't be accepted unless I remove the copyrighted material. What copyrighted material should I remove?

Historybufffanatic2005 (talk) 01:48, 14 December 2020 (UTC)

@Historybufffanatic2005: A couple of points: (1) If I remember correctly, it was only like a sentence or two that was copy-pasted from a different source, hence why I didn't mark it for speedy deletion or history redaction. It seems that the copyright issues were cleaned up at some point. (2) However, some of your sources are still problematic. To quote myself: "Facebook, Medium, the subject's website, and YouTube are not valid sources, per WP:RS." Curbon7 (talk) 05:13, 14 December 2020 (UTC)

Draft:Henrys inVegas and Draft:Henrys Invegas

I am an american music artist and unfortunately my draft has been unsubmitted because I happen to have my biography live on other websites. I guess I have to pay someone to maneuver around Wikipedia and message a few people, unless there is a tag; some sort of command to let the "reviewers" know I am and own the copyright & trademark to my name.

watching.

Henrysinvegas (talk) 03:21, 14 December 2020 (UTC)

@Henrysinvegas: Your original draft, Draft Henery inVegas was deleted because of blatant copyright infringement, per WP:CV. If you are the owner of the copyrighted material and wish to donate it to Wikipedia, you can follow the instructions at WP:DCM. Secondly, you should read Wikipedia's policy on autobiographies at WP:AUTOBIO. Writing an article about yourself is not necessarily disallowed, but it is highly discouraged since it is a huge WP:Conflict of interest. As it stands, your new draft, Draft:Henrys Invegas does not have a neutral point of view. Additionally, neither source you provided are valid. This is because they are both primary sources, which are not useable as references, per WP:RS.
Therefore, to circle back to your donation of your copyrighted material, since you are the owner of the copyrighted material AND you are the subject of the draft, the copyrighted material CANNOT be used as a reference, as it would be a primary source. You must provide valid and reliable sources and fix neutrality issues, or your article is just going to get declined again.
Also regarding your last sentence, I'm gonna assume good faith that your statement of "message a few people" isn't WP:INTIMIDATION, and instead I'll focus on your statement of hiring a paid editor. Similar to the autobiography, this opens a significant risk for WP:NPOV and WP:COI issues, and they would have to disclose that they are indeed a paid editor, per WP:PAID. Curbon7 (talk) 05:57, 14 December 2020 (UTC)

E. Javier Loya

You had previously declined this AFC Draft:E._Javier_Loya for various reasons. I am a paid editor hired on their behalf to fix all issues and resubmit. I believe that I have complied with all the requirements of Wiki and fixed prior issues that made the page sound promotional. As I read the notes, the prior editors had also skipped over some legal issues, but I have included everything (negative or positive). This person is truly notable as you would see from the significant number of sources. Would you mind doing another review? If there are still any issues, please let me know. Hello Curbon 7, my draft on the fake rich of Shanghai was rejected because the title does not have a certain degree of topicality. But this topic and phenomenon has gained more than 1.4 million likes in just one day in Chinese social media .And the phenomenon of packaging oneself with false wealth on social networks is not only in China, there are such vanity lovers all over the world.I don’t think this topic lacks popularity and public attention. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ruolan0228jiang (talkcontribs) 00:28, 16 December 2020 (UTC)

Curbon7 left a message stating that the article I had written may have contained peacock type language and used unreliable references like apple music.

I wanted to reference a similar artist named Riot Ten and compare and contrast what would be the stand out difference that that particular article has that this one is lacking.

Riot Ten article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Riot_Ten#cite_note-8

Thank you! Looking forward to hearing from you.

Studio88lv (talk) 06:11, 17 December 2020 (UTC)

@Studio88lv: Wikipedia cannot accept content that is user-generated. You should read WP:NOTRELIABLE and WP:QUESTIONABLE to get a better understanding of what kinds of sources aren't really allowed. Also, considering your username is listed as an alias for the musician, you should also read WP:AUTOBIO. Curbon7 (talk) 08:54, 17 December 2020 (UTC)
I really want to reference the biography about this similar artist, Riot Ten, because the references are so similar: [11]
My name is Will Clark, however. I'm not Douglass High. I do manage a lot of Douglass' social media and business affiliations. Studio88lv is his audio engineering company. I would've included that in the article, their just isn't any references yet for me to source that information from. Apologize for that mix-up! I will delete that from the article. I will remove references from press outlets that aren't as well known, as well.
I think the thing that is most confusing is why the Riot Ten biography is able to use apple music references and I can't use apple music references with the PURGE (producer) article. I read the text on NOTRELIABLE and QUESTIONABLE but I'm not sure those pages answer the question.
Thank you for your help! I'm definitely new to all of this so your help is greatly appreciated. Studio88lv (talk) 09:38, 17 December 2020 (UTC)
@Studio88lv: At this point, I would definitely recommend checking out the Articles for Creation Help Desk at WP:AFCHELP. Basically just tell them what you told me here so they can help you out. Curbon7 (talk) 09:46, 17 December 2020 (UTC)

Will do! Thank you very much Curbon7.

Hi Curbon7, may I know why the article was declined? Is there any part I have to add a reference or remove for the article to be approved? I'm new to creating and editing Wikipedia articles. Hello! Apologies if this isn't the right avenue for this; I'm new to wikipedia. I am a college professor teaching a course with a project in which students (here, @Citrus334:) wrote new wikipedia pages for scientists. I saw that you declined this draft page on Tadashi Fukami. I would like that decision to be reconsidered. I also left this note on the talk page of the Fukami draft bio, but please note that this subject is an elected member of the Ecological Society of America, a highly selective and prestigious scholarly society or association, and thus establishes notability for academics via criteria #3: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability_(academics). If I am reading your edit correctly, it looks like you declined the page because notability is not established. But I believe that it is, in this case. Thanks for your consideration and I look forward to hearing from you! Csoconn (talk) 19:48, 18 December 2020 (UTC)

Hello. I've understood why first draft was declined (too many citations and non-neutral tone), and I've tried to fix it. Could you please take a look at article again. Yakovetstim (talk) 18:10, 20 December 2020 (UTC)

Hi Curbon7, thank you for your time reviewing my post for Draft: Zero to Three. I'm reaching out to see if you had any recommendations/suggestions on how to make this post more neutralized? The first time I submitted this, they wanted more references, but it wasn't tagged as leaning toward 'advertisements' so I went in and added more references. I would appreciate your guidance and reworking this to make sure it's neutral. Chistina.mlynski (talk) 15:45, 22 December 2020 (UTC)

@Chistina.mlynski: Follow the declinations and comments that Angus and I gave on the draft and all of your questions will be answered. Curbon7 (talk) 05:59, 23 December 2020 (UTC)

Good day, Cubron7!

Thank you for reviewing so fast and Merry Xmas!

I received message that I've used not verifiable content and that I'm related to the artist. I'm not related to the artist, however I'm related to people who filmed a documentary about the artist, and we are not related to the artist or his management, it is available on video streaming services and even received an award from MOS KINO. I linked YouTube because its the link where you can actually see the movie, however I can reference to some video streaming services, its the documentary not about just DJ Tactics, its a documentary about their DJ crew that had a very important impact on the Russian club scene, there is 4 djs in there, about all of those I wanted to do a pages on Wiki, as its strange there is none still.

Also all the sources are from registered news media with more then 10 years of history in Russia, I took some links from old wikipedia article about dj tactics, however as I checked now, they are not valid anymore, probably because the sites are down. But then how to recover those?

Please advise and thank you very much for all the work! — Preceding unsigned comment added by HPRNML (talkcontribs) 13:27, 25 December 2020 (UTC)

@HPRNML: Dead links can be re-accessed using the Wayback Machine assuming you still have the URL. Also, your draft has many neutrality and MOS:FORMATTING issues. Use the article of Zedd for an example of how a DJ's article should be formatted and written. Curbon7 (talk) 23:33, 25 December 2020 (UTC)
@Curbon7: Thank you for advises! I reworded the article, removed dead links and will add links for Production releases and Featuring releases as soon as I find them. Please let me know how it looks now, I also made it as neutral as possible imho. — Preceding unsigned comment added by HPRNML (talkcontribs) 14:03, 26 December 2020 (UTC)

Hi Curbon7, I have modified the draft based on your recommendations, would you please go through it again and advise on how to proceed further. I really appreciate it.Dineee90 (talk) 09:48, 27 December 2020 (UTC)

Florida House of Representatives

Hi Curbon7! I'm a fellow Floridian apart of WP:FLORIDA, and I was looking through the Florida House of Representatives districts. Specifically, districts 1 – 13 that you created. I understand that for all of them you used this as a second source, but I can't find anything on page 88 relating to representatives. My intention is to contribute to these articles, but I really feel like I'm missing something with the source and wanted to clarify before I take any "bold" steps (I've already edited on 13, but I won't touch anything until I fully understand the source so I don't do something wrong). Thanks! FredModulars (talk) 02:10, 28 December 2020 (UTC)

@FredModulars: I'm not sure why they are set to page 88, but that is a quick fix. That source is a list of every single Florida politician, their party, the years they served, and the counties/districts they represented. It's very convenient. If you want to use it to look up the state representatives for a particular district, the easiest way is to do Ctrl+F and type "House, 3rd dist" and that'll show you all of the state reps who have represented the 3rd district, using that district as an example. Curbon7 (talk) 03:52, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
Alright. I've used Ctrl+F on the source, and I have to agree that it's pretty convenient. Thank you. FredModulars (talk) 03:54, 28 December 2020 (UTC)

SenatorLEVI (talk) 05:20, 28 December 2020 (UTC)

I have received the message from your side that my article does not have sufficient references to be verified but it has Facebook and other social media references which are not enough to verify my article but it has more concert reference about the things which has been said. if I remove that social media references then this article would be approved by you or not. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aliraqiiq (talkcontribs) 17:31, 28 December 2020 (UTC)

@Aliraqiiq: It would be declined even if the problematic sources are removed. There are major WP:NPOV issues with the draft, and it reads like a very promotional piece. Curbon7 (talk) 04:47, 29 December 2020 (UTC)

I have made the necessary changes to the article as stated by the last reviewer. But I can not find the button to submit the updated article for review.

Aolaotan (talk) 13:34, 29 December 2020 (UTC)

It has been resubmitted. Curbon7 (talk) 23:54, 29 December 2020 (UTC)

Hi Curbon7 – per your edit here, were you responsible for reviewing and accepting this draft, or did you simply clear up the AfC tag afterwards? Because it looks as though this article was declined at AfC, and the article creator simply ignored that and moved it into mainspace anyway. I'm just trying to clarify what your involvement in its creation was, because to be honest this album is not notable and I'm going to send it to AfD... three of the seven sources don't even mention it, and the others say nothing more than "it was released" in passing. Thanks. Richard3120 (talk) 16:45, 29 December 2020 (UTC)

@Richard3120: I accepted it. In hindsight it was a bad decision and it should absolutely be put up for AfD. Also, the creator moved the page 5 times, so we also have some redirects to clean up. Curbon7 (talk) 00:02, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
That's okay, I'm not looking to point the finger at anyone, I just wanted to get clear the timeline of this article's creation. As you say, the creator has created a lot of redirects and double redirects, some of which have been speedily deleted, but others have been kept... I'll keep them on my watchlist, and then if this article is deleted, they can be put up for G8 deletion afterwards. Richard3120 (talk) 01:26, 30 December 2020 (UTC)

Draft:Friedrich Porges; My submission of Dec. 15

Hello, Curbon7, Thank you for your message regarding my submission about Friedrich (Frederick) Porges on Dec. 15th. I was surprised by the statement that Porges does not qualify for a Wikipedia article, because there already is a page about him in Wikipedia. It is, however, incomplete, and contains the notice: "...You can help Wikipedia by expanding it," which is what I would like to do. I would greatly appreciate your advice as to how to achieve this aim. Also, are the mentioned sources considered unreliable because they are mostly in German? The book I cite by Rudolf Ulrich: "Oesterreicher in Hollywood, ein Beitrag zur Entwicklung des amerikanischen Films" ( "Austrians in Hollywood, a Contribtion to the Development of American Film" ), for example, devotes a whole page with photo to Porges. Please advise. Thanking you in advance, I remain with best regards and wishes for the New Year. DRG555 DRG555 (talk) 06:08, 30 December 2020 (UTC)

DRG555, I'm not sure where you see an existing article on Porges. However, the main issues with your draft as far as sources go are that there are no inline citations (per WP:ILC). Also, the article as a whole is formatted very incorrectly. Use the article Fritz Lang as an example of how you should format your page, since he is a similar filmmaker from the same time period. Curbon7 (talk) 11:14, 30 December 2020 (UTC)

You said it doesn't meet Wikipedia's purpose why is that I didn't see how it contradicted any of Wikipedia's purposes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kingdomofburdette (talkcontribs) 16:21, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
