Hello, welcome to the archive that'll make you come.

Please do not make statements attacking people or groups of people. Wikipedia has a strict policy against personal attacks. Attack pages and images are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who continue to create or repost such pages and images in violation of our biographies of living persons policy will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Delicious carbuncle (talk) 02:01, 31 July 2010 (UTC)

Just to be clear why I'm requesting deletion, the subject of the article died before facing trial and therefore was never convicted of murder. Please be careful about making these kinds of statements. Thanks. Delicious carbuncle (talk) 02:03, 31 July 2010 (UTC)

Well okay, but DNA appears pretty solid evidence to me. Check out the links. Thanks.--Cymbelmineer (talk) 11:52, 31 July 2010 (UTC)--Cymbelmineer (talk) 11:52, 31 July 2010 (UTC)

Your opinion may well be correct, but if you don't understand the difference between your opinion and a legal finding, you shouldn't be involving yourself in these types of articles. Please read WP:NPOV,WP:VERIFY, and WP:OR before writing any more articles. Thanks. Delicious carbuncle (talk) 15:57, 31 July 2010 (UTC)

I am well aware of the difference between opinion and fact, however, Peter Sutcliffe was still invocated in a page about the Bradford killings shortly after being arrested. There is no gold standard of suspicion in serial killer cases. People have even set up websites protesting for people like Ted Bundy's and Henry Lucas' innocence in the cirmes for which they have been convicted. There is a huge gulf between decision and opinion, even though decision is binary and may back up someones opinion. Not only that, but I did cite several credible websites which I know have been removed.--Cymbelmineer (talk) 16:39, 31 July 2010 (UTC)--Cymbelmineer (talk) 16:39, 31 July 2010 (UTC)--Cymbelmineer (talk) 16:39, 31 July 2010 (UTC)

Peter Sutcliffe was jailed well before Wikipedia took form, so I'm not sure what it is you are trying to say. If you intend to contribute here, I strongly urge you to make yourself aware of the guidelines I've already linked. Delicious carbuncle (talk) 21:34, 31 July 2010 (UTC)

I will. Ultimately, however, serial killers, as I am interested in editing on, are smart at covering evidence that directly links to them. How devastating must evidence be to someone to allow it to formulate here. Ulitimately adecision in multiple killings must take shape on the basis of taking to task an individual(s) if that is seemingly partisan then that is not so. I have at least conceeded two detailed sources which put through the circumstances conecting stephen akinmurele to murders, if we obeyed only putting throuhg killers who were caught in the act, we would never have serial killing articles at all.--Cymbelmineer (talk) 21:41, 31 July 2010 (UTC)

Please read the guidelines before replying to this or editing any articles. If the person has not been convicted of the crimes, do not write an article about them referring to them as a "serial killer". Simple enough? Delicious carbuncle (talk) 21:53, 31 July 2010 (UTC)

I did mention reputable evidence. If stephen griffiths "the crossbow cannibal" were to die, and yet reputable police sources and investigative media turned up and wrote up about his garden having yielded prostitutes bodies- this is a line of inquiry for them- would it be discounted because he'd somehow managed to commit suicide? Theres nothing in the verifiability guidelines about that.--Cymbelmineer (talk) 21:58, 31 July 2010 (UTC)

As far as I know, Stephen Griffiths has yet to be convicted of anything, so while it would be acceptable to refer to his arrest or his charges or other aspects of the case, it would not be acceptable refer to him as "a serial killer" which seems to be your desire. I have no interest in having a debate about serial killers - I'm trying to make sure that having gotten off to a rocky start here you are now aware of the guidelines. Delicious carbuncle (talk) 22:11, 31 July 2010 (UTC)

I think reasonable doubt should apply on a person if they are charged with commiting an act. It is possible to get supposedly snaitary sources that point out the innocence of Ted Bundy, and yet wikipedia would never publish them. I wonder why? We cannot have entirely credulous aims if we are to build on Facts.--Cymbelmineer (talk) 22:34, 31 July 2010 (UTC)

Which sources are you referring to, Cymbelmineer? And why wouldn't WP publish them? As a contributor to that particular article, I'd be interested in your input. Cheers :> Doc9871 (talk) 07:43, 1 August 2010 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Bruce George Peter Lee requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. VQuakr (talk) 22:57, 31 July 2010 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Template:1, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Mark Rowntree (serial killer), and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.wordiq.com/definition/Mark_Rowntree.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. Serial killer

Please be very careful about creating unreferenced articles claiming that an individual is a serial killer. I have marked the page you created for speedy deletion as an unreferenced negative biography of a living person. Contentious material about living persons, especially an extremely contentious claim like this, needs to be well sourced. GiftigerWunsch [TALK] 18:13, 1 September 2010 (UTC)

I accidentally put up that page before I had cited any sources, or put down the article in any meaningful way, so sorry. I meant to put it on my userpage.

Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to George Chapman (murderer). This includes making page moves while a discussion remains under way. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. PatGallacher (talk) 23:50, 3 September 2010 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions. Please remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to George Chapman (murderer), as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes, or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. PatGallacher (talk) 23:50, 3 September 2010 (UTC)

Hi, I was looking at your draft for 4chan internet community and I think it is a very good article. Although, I would suggest using {{Cite web}} and {{Cite news}} templates. An easier way than going into the template and copying the syntax and pasting it is a gadget that you can find in your prefences. Here's how to get the gadget:
My prefences → Gadgets → Then tick the box "refTools, adds a "cite" button to the editing toolbar for quick and easy addition of commonly used citation templates." → Save.
If you do not understand something, please ask. Thanks. Mr.Kennedy1 talk guestbook 07:06, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

The article .22 caliber Killer has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Terrillja talk 01:03, 18 September 2010 (UTC)

If you'd like to propose that this article be deleted, have a look at WP:AFDHOWTO for detailed instructions. You have new message/s Hello. You have a new message at Mr.Kennedy1's talk page. Message added 15:22, 22 September 2010 (UTC).

A tag has been placed on Twitter security breach 2010 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

A tag has been placed on Boners.com (website) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

The article Something beautiful for god has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unreferenced, no indication of notability

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. rʨanaɢ (talk) 14:22, 29 September 2010 (UTC)

Your contributed article, Fuck of the month club

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Fuck of the month club. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Rotten.com. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Rotten.com - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. roleplayer 11:54, 10 October 2010 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Fuck of the month club, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. -- roleplayer 12:01, 10 October 2010 (UTC)

First task

Hi, I noticed that alot of the articles you are creating are being tagged for speedy deletion or proposed deletion. So, I will set you your first task. I want you to create an article in your sandbox, and don't publish it until you know it is ready, and it must not be tagged for deletion when published. You pass your first task if you can do this. Could you tell me the article you are planning on creating? Thanks. Mr.Kennedy1 talk 16:13, 9 October 2010 (UTC)

Well, I noticed there are quie a lot of cakes being made that look like penises, so I could write a Penis Cake article. Those kinds of cake throw up some... unusual images. Seems like an idea, what d'ya think?--Cymbelmineer (talk) 16:30, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
You're not serious, right? Mr.Kennedy1 talk 16:32, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
Why not? The images alone are surprisingly well-searched, and think about the article call-ups for such things. There are at least 15 reliable sources that I could pluck out of the air for these.--Cymbelmineer (talk) 16:34, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, but could you not write about something that isn't the stupidest (and funniest :)) thing I ever heard. Mr.Kennedy1 talk 16:37, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
OK, how about a special forces underground article, about a hate organization in the US military which caused a big scandal a decade ago.--Cymbelmineer (talk) 16:52, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
BTW, I started up a sandbox for myself.--Cymbelmineer (talk) 16:56, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
Do you have many sources for this article. Mr.Kennedy1 talk 17:58, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
I can find maybe five news sources, is that enough?--Cymbelmineer (talk) 18:02, 9 October 2010 (UTC)

Sure, make sure they are reliable though. Also, I have asked the people at WT:MILHIST if this subject is notable enough and where to find information on it. I'll bring the information to you when I get a reply. Mr.Kennedy1 talk 18:11, 9 October 2010 (UTC)

Okay that's great, just make sure they don't steal the idea!--Cymbelmineer (talk) 18:15, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
Disregard that, I think I'll write an article on criticism of Citizendium after all.--Cymbelmineer (talk) 20:22, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
No, because unless their is vast amounts of critism, it is not worth an article and will be deleted. Mr.Kennedy1 talk 20:30, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
I'll stick with what I've got, I guess.--Cymbelmineer (talk) 20:37, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
I've started writing it, i'll finish it tommorow.--Cymbelmineer (talk) 20:57, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
I made a page on the meme battletoads, pre-order. It;s about 90% accurate. You can see it here User:Cymbelmineer/Sandbox2.--Cymbelmineer (talk) 10:54, 10 October 2010 (UTC)
I know it may sound like just a bit of internet pop culture, however, you would be surprised at the number of referenced articles and links I've found. Sorry I didn't do the special forces underground article, but I think the article I linked you to is good.--Cymbelmineer (talk) 10:57, 10 October 2010 (UTC)
Sorry I didn't reply quicker, their is loads of crap on my watchlist and I completely missed it. Anyway, the article looks great. I will make a couple of improvements tommorow–don't have any time at the minute. Mr.Kennedy1 talk 21:49, 10 October 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Trampoline (computers)

Hello Cymbelmineer, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Trampoline (computers), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: -db: A7 does not apply. Better to complete the unfinished AfD. Yoou've so far only done step 2 of Wikipedia:Afd#How_to_list_pages_for_deletion. Let me know if you need further help with that. Nomination of Dr. Sputnik's Society Pages for deletion

A discussion has begun about whether the article Dr. Sputnik's Society Pages, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dr. Sputnik's Society Pages until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Delicious carbuncle (talk) 22:09, 12 October 2010 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Wondermark do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. –Schmloof (talk · contribs) 16:35, 13 October 2010 (UTC)

Your AFD nomination of Billboard Liberation Front

hey, I saw you tried to nominate Billboard Liberation Front for deletion. Unfortunately you forgot some steps in the process. I have fixed it now, but if you want to nominate another article in the future please follow the instructions or use an automated tool like Twinkle. If you have any questions, feel free to post them on my talkpage. Yoenit (talk) 11:08, 14 October 2010 (UTC)

I've closed the Afd considering also your statemnment. Please see also the note above on another incomplete AfD. If you're interested in Articles for deletion, please review the page thoroughly before any other nominations and consider also to discuss first as participant in some discussions.--Tikiwont (talk) 10:25, 18 October 2010 (UTC)

Please complete all three steps of the AfD nomination process

Your recent AfD nominations at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Trampoline (computers) and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Billboard Liberation Front were incomplete. There is a three step process spelled out at Wikipedia:Afd#How to list pages for deletion - you had only done step 2, creating the deletion discussion page. I fixed one nomination for you, and another editor fixed the other. When you make an AfD nomination in future, please complete all three steps in the process. It is considered very impolite in Wikipedia to leave messes for other editors to clear up after you. Thank you. Gandalf61 (talk) 10:25, 18 October 2010 (UTC)

For your reference

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like to remind you not to attack other editors, as you did on User talk:Delicious carbuncle. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. You are welcome to rephrase your comment as a civil criticism of the article. Thank you. You should probably read this before you get yourself blocked. Delicious carbuncle (talk) 22:57, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

Seconded. Rephrasing after careful thought is your friend. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 23:01, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

You seem to think that creators can't vote in in their articles deletion discussion but that is disinformation :). Marcus Qwertyus 20:48, 22 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
