@Cypher7850: I didn't want to clutter up the TeaHouse with too much detail, but I hope some of the links above prove useful. Another one that I used a lot is User:Yunshui/References for beginners.

As far as general advice goes, start small. Some people jump right in to creating a new article from scratch, but that is actually one of the most challenging things to do. Better to start off like you did, fixing some of the obvious errors. Build up to the more challenging stuff gradually. And I still go back to the Teahouse with questions from time to time, so I meant what I said about the importance of questions: Wikipedia is a collaborative exercise. --Gronk Oz (talk) 17:28, 8 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
