Post colonialism edit

Hi! I am totally new to Wikipedia. I got a message from you mentioning backtracking my edits to the page on postcolonialism. I can't remember what edits I made and I was trying to find them and I couldn't. Is there a way for me to do that? Or do you remember what I did? Huijsteven (talk) 00:43, 25 February 2018 (UTC)

Permissions revoked

Hello Cyrus, and thank you for your help fighting vandalism. As you should know, Rollback is a special privilege that allows editors to revert edits in one click, with no explanation, and is only to be used in cases of clear vandalism. Now, mistakes happen, and that's no big deal. However, when you do make a mistake, the ability to communicate effectively is absolutely essential in order to understand what you did wrong and rectify the situation as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, it does not appear that your English skills are developed enough in order to satisfy this need. This brings me to an even more important point: the mistake you made appears to be a direct result of your inability to communicate effectively. You used rollback to restore a sockpuppet, who was responding to his own report, threatening to continue socking. It was simple and obvious abuse, but you were apparently unable to understand what was going on at all, and you were unable to effectively communicate with the user you wrongfully reverted and threatened to block. For these reasons, I've unfortunately had to revoke the permissions you were recently granted. Swarm 01:49, 26 February 2018 (UTC)

Rollback revoked

Hi, I've revoked your rollback permission per this thread at ANI. Unfortunately, I don't think you have the skillset at this time to be able to distinguish between vandalism and constructive edits, and communicating with other users can sometimes be difficult for you, which combined can cause disruption and turn good faith users off from Wikipedia. TonyBallioni (talk) 01:52, 26 February 2018 (UTC)

Are you sure that the edits made by 70.35.223.47 was vandalism? ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 02:03, 10 March 2018 (UTC)

I don't understand what you mean - can you elaborate further for me? Thanks :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 02:06, 10 March 2018 (UTC)

Non-free rationale for File:Maggi logo.png

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Maggi logo.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. 2A02:C7F:963F:BA00:11C4:1D30:48EC:615D (talk) 14:21, 11 March 2018 (UTC)

Emoji showing a worried face Hi Cyrus noto3at bulaga, I'm DoRD. You'll likely not be pleased about this but I have removed some of your edits because they reveal too much personally identifiable information about you. We have a policy of protecting editors' safety by hiding such information if they share it. I'm really sorry about having to suppress your edits, and I know it's annoying, but it's for the best. Please don't re-add the information. For some useful information on privacy and safety, you can take a look at Wikipedia:Guidance for younger editors and Wikipedia:On privacy, confidentiality and discretion. Thank you, and sorry for messing about with your edits! —DoRD (talk) 16:27, 12 March 2018 (UTC)

I would also like to suggest that you try to remove information from other Wikimedia sites as well. —DoRD (talk) 18:52, 12 March 2018 (UTC)
DoRD, I am just reverted vandalism. --Cyrus noto3at bulaga (Talk to me) 01:07, 13 March 2018 (UTC)
I understand that, and we appreciate your efforts, but you have given out too much personal information about yourself, and that could be dangerous to you. Please see the links in my message above. —DoRD (talk) 02:24, 13 March 2018 (UTC)

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:22, 21 July 2018 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Commemorative Antonio Luna PHP10 Peso Coin.jpg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Commemorative Antonio Luna PHP10 Peso Coin.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:12, 2 August 2018 (UTC)
