Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Eric, Prince of Banner, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. The article Eric Banner has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. I have nominated Killian Buckley, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Killian Buckley. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. WWGB (talk) 12:56, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]

Because of your admissions at the AFDs that you have been playing with Wikipedia and creating hoax pages, I have blocked your account indefinitely. What you have been doing is completely inappropriate and is unacceptable on here. either way (talk) 14:38, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Yes, I did create some hoax pages on Wikipedia, but I never intended for them to cause any damage. I think I should be unblocked for the following reasons. 1.I owned up to my wrong doings and apologised. If I was a really bad person I would have kept it a secret. 2.Nobody even read it apart from my friends. Nobody believed it. I didn't cause any harm at all. It was a harmless joke, and nothing else. 3.I have contributed more than just hoaxes to Wikipedia. I created the Scoil Chualann page. a real school, taht I went to, and it does exist. Look it up. Yes, I did something wrong, and for that I am sorry. Those pages were useless and should be removed. Although, I promise, that if I'm unblocked, I will edit Wikipedia in a productive and socially acceptable way. We've all made mistakes, and we all regret them. I regret this one. I know that doesn't amke it ok, but hopefully it will please you enough to unblock me. I await your response with patience, Daedulus Caan.

Decline reason:

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Ok. My last unblock appeal didn't go to well, but I read the guidlines and I'm ready to try again. My hoaxes were wrong, but I have contributed more than them. as I said before, I created the Scoil Chualann page, I also added several items to the Bray page that should have been there. For example, there was nothing about Oscar Wilde there. Wilde did live on the Esplanade and it's well known in Bray. I also contributed to Coláiste Ráithín, Queen of Peace and Doctor Who. When you work it out, I have contributed more fact than fiction. I can be a great help, all need is an unblock. Once again, I wait with patience, Daedulus Caan.

Decline reason:

Unfortunately, now that we know that you have written elaborate hoax articles and presented them as real on Wikipedia, nothing that you write can ever be trusted again. Under these circumstances, your contributions cannot be of use to Wikipedia.  Sandstein  17:39, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I only see three edits that you made to Bray: one linking the school, and these two adding your fake writer. either way (talk) 15:31, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No, if you look above my fake writer one, you will see Oscar Wilde. I did add that, but it is not put down as me because I was not an editor at the time. Daedulus Caan 16:36 (GMT), April 25 2010

So you're saying that this IP address is where you also made/make edits from? either way (talk) 15:39, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly. I don't know my IP adress. D.C 16:40(GMT) 25 April 2010

Well, based on the edits, it definitely appears to be your IP address. That being said, I don't think that edits like this are going to help your case as a "good factual" user. either way (talk) 15:43, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That's true! I heard it from my friend (who's a big history nerd) and I've seen it elsewhere on the internet. Either Way, please, trust me, I'm not trying to supply people with false information. I'm trying to edit Wikipedia as productively as I can. It may seem that my edits are a little stupid, but cut me some slack, I'm 14. D.C. 16:48 (GMT) 25 April

Official Apology and Goodbye

[edit]

I am terribly sorry fo all I've done. Perhaps one day I might be forgiven, but untill that day, goodbye. If anyone out there can unblock, please do. I have so much to give. Maybe, as Sandstein said, I can't be trusted, but I firmly believe I can. One day, I shall come back. Yes I shall come back, but for that I need to be unblocked. One of you, must do this. Please, help me.

Goodbye. Daedulus Caan, 19:20 (GMT), 25 April 2010
