- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or sock puppetry.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.

Cathedral
[edit]Hello, thank you for your contributions. Please add adequate Reliable sources to your article All Saints Cathedral, Allahabad as it still has a large amount of text, without any reference. Also, whenever you place a wiki link, like William Emerson in the same article, please check whether it is going to the desired article which is William Emerson (architect) in this case, or merely to a Disambiguation page. Another similar issue is with Cuscus. Check it out! Thanks! -Ekabhishektalk 12:00, 20 September 2012 (UTC)
- Hi! I have corrected the citation template you have tried to add, in the above article. [edit]Hello! Dananuj. Yes! It's me! (User: Neurofreak, Shiats editor, IP: 117.205) Thanks for contributing to SHIATS and affiliated pages. We both want to contribute to our university page, but yesterday some (User:Red Doom Ink...) removed lots of headings from the SHIATS page, I restored them twice after making few changes, today he/she removed external links, i just restored them. I think we should keep in touch through fb or Email. I want to know more about you. Looking forward to your response. Hey! Is there any way we can remove the cleanup tag from SHIATS? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.205.108.221 (talk) 10:54, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
- yes there is - by completely re-writing the article in a non-promotional tone, based on third party sources instead of cut and paste from the SHAITS website. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 14:11, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Arthur T. Mosher
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Arthur T. Mosher requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Cathedrals in Allahabad
[edit]Hello Dananuj, thank you for your contributions on topics related to Allahabad, specifically the articles on cathedrals in Allahabad. I have made some additions to your new article on the St. Joseph's cathedral. If you live in Allahabad, perhaps you could add a photo of the Cathedral.. that would be great.
Regarding the list of cathedrals in India, the convention is that for each country, the denominations are ordered based on the no. of members of each denomination, so I have made the order back to the old one (Roman Catholic first). Hope that's ok with you.
It would be great if you take pictures and create articles on other cathedrals and churches in Uttar Pradesh if you travel around.The Discoverer (talk) 12:04, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:SHIATS University Seal.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:SHIATS University Seal.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:36, 7 July 2015 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for May 8
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Allahabad Museum, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page North-West Province. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:09, 8 May 2017 (UTC)
The article Allahabad Police has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the article should explain why.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. SshibumXZ (talk) 04:58, 18 August 2017 (UTC)

List of metropolitan areas in Uttar Pradesh by population moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, List of metropolitan areas in Uttar Pradesh by population, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
