If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Euro-Unit requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://euro-unit.hr/en/about-us/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.  Velella  Velella Talk   13:42, 17 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

AfC notification: Draft:Euro-Unit has a new comment[edit]

I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:Euro-Unit. Thanks! WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 12:01, 22 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @WikiDan61: I don't understand how to talk to someone here on Wikipedia. I am new to all of this. Made some changes on my text Euro-Unit. Hope it's OK now Danchimon (talk) 13:03, 22 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You're not quite there yet. A few examples of language that is egregiously promotional rather than neutral and informative:
  • This slogan is the best description of the Euro-Unit company and their passion for music and musical instruments.
You can include the company's slogan (best placed in the infobox), but any claim that the slogan accurately represents the company (rather than simply promotes the company) is mere marketing-speak.
  • ...who had a strong vision of a company that would live for music every day and will meet all the needs of professional musicians.
All music retailers have this vision; this is more marketing language, but not actual verifiable fact.
  • Euro-Unit is renowned company for the distribution and sale of musical instruments and musical equipment.
Calling a company "renowned" is promotional. Rather, you could list positive reviews of the company from legitimate sources (i.e. music magazines, etc.), thus attributing any positive remarks about the company to reputable sources.
  • That way they can pass all the novelties from companies and brands which they represent, to its customers.
More marketing speak. More neutrally, just describe that Euro-Unit frequently participates in domestic and international music fairs. (With proper citation, of course.)
Good luck with your drafting! WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 13:13, 22 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @WikiDan61:) thanks very much for your help. I have made changes suggested by you and also added citation. Hope it's all better now, and I would love to publish it. Can you help? How can I publish it to be visible on Wikipedia? Many thanks in advance. Danchimon (talk) 13:47, 22 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You've cleaned up the advertising problem, Now you'll need to address the issue of notability. You have only provided two references, and both are from the company's own website. You'll need to provide evidence of significant coverage from independent media. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 14:14, 22 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @WikiDan61: I have made changes in the Reference list and provided independent sources links. Hope this is OK now. Can you publish it now? Another question, someone deleted the official Euro-Unit logo. This is the official logo of the company, there is no violation. Hope this logo can be inserted back. The sources you've added do not truly verify the notability of this company. The first source is little more than an advertorial (an ad for the company disguised as editorial content); the second source barely mentions Euro-Unit in passing. You'll need better evidence of significant independent coverage. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 11:40, 25 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @WikiDan61: I removed all the links for a reference list. No need for them. Can you help and publish this article now? Many thanks in advance.Danchimon (talk) 14:11, 25 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

No. This article is not ready for publication. It needs sources to verify that the company has been the subject of significant coverage. You have not provided that. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 14:36, 25 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @WikiDan61: I have made changes to reference list with independent sources (coverage) like you said. I hope it is all ok now to publish it. Let me know, so you can publish it. Many thanx in advance.Danchimon (talk) 14:40, 30 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Looking better now. I suggest submitting it for normal review through the AFC process. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:46, 30 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @WikiDan61: Thanks, but I have never done that. What excatly should I do? Can you help?Danchimon (talk) 07:38, 31 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Draft:Euro-Unit, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. @NewsTeamAssemble: Hello friends. It was surprise receiving criteria for speedy deletion regarding my article. I am sure you will help. I am sending the same text here as I posted in Contested deletion. Thanks for your understanding.

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (It's a story about a Euro-Unit retailer in Croatia just the same like Thomann is in Germany and I don't see any problem with that page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomann_(retailer). The Thomann page is published without a problem. The same here with Euro-Unit, so don't understand your feedback. Before this page was submitted I had a help from User:WikiDan61 who guided me and helped me to make this page as it should be without breaking any rules of Wikipedia. I invested a lot of work into this. After several changes, he said it is OK and it can be submitted for publishing. I would really love this to be published for world to see that also small country as Croatia has interesting companies. Thank you for your help and please don't delete this page. It deserves to be available for the public. Thank you so very much in advance. If you think that any sentence should be deleted or changed, let me know, but please don't delete it.)Danchimon (talk) 08:23, 21 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

November 2018[edit]

Hello, Danchimon. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia-- the world's largest free content encyclopedia. I'm sorry, but  Draft:Euro-Unit has been deleted as meeting WP:CSD#G11. "This applies to pages that are exclusively promotional and would need to be fundamentally rewritten to conform with Wikipedia:NOTFORPROMOTION." These must be rewritten from scratch from "reliable, third party sources unconnected to the subject." See WP:RS.

Wikipedia:Identifying blatant advertising#Typical signs of blatant advertising contains information about content to avoid. For more information on content that may be perceived as promotional, click User:Dlohcierekim/promo. These are just rough guides. Pages can avoid all those pitfalls and still be glaringly obvious ad copy. Sometimes pages meeting WP:CSD#G11 give the appearance of an editor violating Wikipedia:Conflict of interest or WP:PAID. Please read and heed them if they apply to you. Please read Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations.

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia-- subjects must meet notability guidelines with reliable sources that are unconnected with the subject and providing verifiable information. That generally means someone unconnected with the subject needs to have written a great deal about the subject. Please see Wikipedia:Citing sources . Template:cite has templates you can use in citing your sources. Place the template {{references}} at the bottom of the page, and references cited in the text will appear there.

If you want to try again, please use the Article Wizard or articles for creation to guide you through the creation process. The new user tutorial can help you avoid future problems.

You may find this tool useful: Google custom search Don't feel discouraged. My first attempts at creating articles were deleted too.

There is more information at Wikipedia:Community portal. There is help available at THE TEAHOUSE. Cheers, and happy editing. -- Dlohcierekim (talk) 14:31, 21 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Injury[edit]

Hello, Danchimon. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Injury".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Meszzy2 (talk) 06:00, 9 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
