Canadian politician stubs[edit]

Hi Dany44, when you make the stubs for the Canadian legislators, please consider adding these (less the nowiki tags) to the bottom of every article. Type or cut/paste the categories and place the names (last name first) into the article. It will allow other contributors to expand the stub, and categorize the people where they are supposed to go. If you know the birthdate, the trick is use say [[Category: 1066 births|Cheveldayoff, Ken]] filling in the name of the birthday and the name of the subject.

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Dominique Dorsey, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Hello there. What I was reverting was the Saskatchewan Roughriders from the Yorkton sports team listing. When you add content to wikipedia try to add a reference or citation. Without which, anyone can delete it. It wasn't my intention to delete Constance Hunt. Seeing as how there is a reference for her online on a biographical article, it wouldn't hurt to put it as an inline citation as well on the Yorkton page which is the proper protocol. Help[edit]

Hey, if you wouldn't mind, I'd like your opinion here, since this thread started with your sentence. Thank you very much in advance. 87.69.177.35 (talk) 20:27, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Dany44! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 3 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 941 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Denis Allchurch - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Tri Highway Fastball League requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. ♠PMC(talk) 09:56, 11 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
