If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Canada Line (SkyTrain) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a disambiguation page which either

  • disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic);
  • disambiguates zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
  • is an orphaned redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that does not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Joeyconnick (talk) 17:46, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

unnecessary disambiguation pages

[edit]

Hi,

Please stop creating transit-related disambiguation pages for which there is no need, such as the two above. Disambiguation pages are only needed if there's another article with the same title that a regular reader would be liable to get confused between.

Thanks! —Joeyconnick (talk) 17:50, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ocean

[edit]

Hi, thank you for your contributions. I note some recent edits to Via-related articles that appear to introduce incorrect information.

  • Charny station is not served by the Ocean.
  • Gare du Palais is not served by the Ocean.
  • Halifax Airport is not served by the Ocean.

Can you cite sources which say otherwise? 162 etc. (talk) 16:35, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

National Airports System

[edit]

There is no mention of the Region of Waterloo International Airport being part of the National Airports System. Even if it was it does not need listing on the Template:Airports in Canada three times. Blocked as a sockpuppet

[edit]
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively as a sockpuppet of User:Evpac per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Evpac. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
