Image copyright problem with Image:35229310.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:35229310.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Versions of English[edit]

Please be aware that American spelling isn't the only version of English spelling, and that it isn't any more correct than the spellings used by other nationalities. In a recent edit to the page John Lennon, you changed one or more words from one international variety of English to another. Wikipedia is not written just for (or by) Americans. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For subjects exclusively related to Britain (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to other English-speaking countries, such as Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, use the appropriate variety of English used there. If it is an international topic, use the same form of English the original author used. Please be respectful of editors and readers with nationalities other than your own.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to the other, even if you don't normally use the version the article is written in. Respect other people's versions of English. They in turn should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style. Please do not rush to insert up-to-the-minute news items in Wikipedia articles that could quickly change from week to week or even day to day, as you did to Barack Obama. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a newspaper. Please try to edit articles with regard to long-term historical perspective and not inflate the importance and effect of a topic that has received recent media attention. Thank you.
