Great work on the cleanup of many different images! Thank you for doing unnoticed tasks that many others, including myself, cannot do! -- ТимофейЛееСуда. 00:23, 17 January 2013 (UTC)

I want to update this barnstar. Awesome work on doing what other cannot do and/or are too lazy. Your tireless effort of cleaning up images by removing borders, watermarks, etc in part due to your technical skills as well as your desire to make Wikipedia better with every thing your signature touches. FANTASTIC JOB! -- ТимофейЛееСуда. 22:53, 16 February 2013 (UTC)

Thanks very much! :D great to know that the work is appreciated Delsion23 (talk) 00:56, 17 January 2013 (UTC)

Coats of arms

Hi there - spotted your edit summaries to FC United. It's a misconception that coats of arms belong or were granted to cities, boroughs and towns. In English heraldry, coats of arms can only ever be granted to people or organisations/corporations; they have not nor can not be granted to territories (infact, I grabbed a quote "It should be noted that in England and Wales arms do not belong to territories or areas, but persons or corporate bodies. In the case of municipal government arms are granted to county, district and borough councils, as corporate bodies..."[1]). Although google and other sites will always throw up results for the "arms of Manchester", they were infact granted to the Manchester Corporation, then to the City Council. I thought I'd best give you a nudge to help the FCUM page. --Jza84 |  Talk  16:31, 26 January 2013 (UTC)

Wikidata and Interwiki links

You are receiving this as you have recently deleted an interwiki link on a page that is not currently on Wikidata.

Please either make sure ALL links are on Wikidata before removing them OR leave the removal of interwiki links to bots.

No problem, I have been doing just that :) Delsion23 (talk) 00:26, 19 February 2013 (UTC)
My bot has noticed on User:Addbot/log/wikidata that 5 of your removals have not been on wikidata :/ ·Add§hore· Talk To Me! 00:36, 19 February 2013 (UTC)
But after looking at each edit specifically I can see the reason it found you! :) Thanks for using the script! You can always save your time and just wait until a bot comes around and makes the edit on the article :) ·Add§hore· Talk To Me! 00:38, 19 February 2013 (UTC)
I was worried for a second. The Micronesia one I spent quite a while fixing and am pretty sure I did not make any mistakes. There seems to be a lot of false positives in the error list your bot is generating. Delsion23 (talk) 00:40, 19 February 2013 (UTC)
Yep, hence why the bot doesn't go around messaging users I do instead :) The bot detects any removal of all interwiki links from a page (as generally this is the only time interwikis are removed that are not on wikidata). It then checks the interwikis there were on the page against the relevant wikidata entry and if 1 is missing it will add it to the list to be checked :) ·Add§hore· Talk To Me! 00:42, 19 February 2013 (UTC)

Editing images

Hi Delusion23. I see you have been doing some work on our image collection, cropping things, removing watermarks, and the like. That's great news, but there's some important stuff you are missing: copyright-related concerns. For example, here's an image File:Usapa Besar POW Camp.png with a watermark showing the image is © Grant McLachlan. The uploader claims that Mr McLachlan has donated the image, but he doesn't provide us with any proof of that. Images like this that appear to be on the wiki without the copyright holder's permission should not be cropped or improved, but tagged for deletion under criterion F11: No evidence of permission. Please see Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion#Files for more information about this speedy deletion criterion. Please tag any files where we do not appear to have the copyright holder's permission for deletion by adding {{subst:npd}} to the file. This will substitute the {{npd}} template onto the image and place it in a daily maintenance category. Once you've tagged the file you can notify the uploader of the problem using the template that will then appear on the file page. Thanks for your help! -- Dianna (talk) 20:58, 28 February 2013 (UTC)

Hi there, when proposing an article for BLPPROD, please be wary of WP:BEFORE - there are numerous sources for Chris Welburn, for example. Regards, GiantSnowman 20:04, 6 March 2013 (UTC)

Hey Delusion23; I'm dropping you this note because you've used the article feedback tool in the last month or so. Orphaned non-free media (File:Sheppey United F.C. logo.png)

Thanks for uploading File:Sheppey United F.C. logo.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:19, 24 May 2013 (UTC)

Truro City badge

Truro have a new badge [2] and I thought you, as the resident badge expert, might like to do the honours. Cheers, Bretonbanquet (talk) 22:13, 21 June 2013 (UTC)

New badge for Cribbs F.C.

Cribbs F.C. have changed their silly name and have a new badge [3], if you want to update it. Cheers, Bretonbanquet (talk) 13:45, 27 July 2013 (UTC)

Funny 'cos so did I! This is about the most sensible name they've ever had... Bretonbanquet (talk) 14:15, 27 July 2013 (UTC)

Thank you for tagging the page in question, but please be more careful with your coding in the future. (It's not a really big deal, but File:File:Cribbs F.C. logo.png was, naturally, not a valid name for a file.)

Rather than {{rename media|File:Cribbs F.C. logo.png|The team has changed their name.}}, the code should be {{rename media|Cribbs F.C. logo.png|The team has changed their name.}}.

Thanks for your consideration, and keep up the good work.

Cheers. --Qwerty Binary (talk) 14:30, 27 July 2013 (UTC)

Not at all. Keep up the good work. Delsion23 (talk) 14:41, 27 July 2013 (UTC)

Northern England location map

Hi Delusion23

I have made good use of your File:Northern England location map.PNG on Trent Valley Way and will probably use it in the River Trent article in the future. Is there any way you could edit the map to create a map of (say) Midlands England that crops the map. It could be cropped south of Flamborough Head and then just to the west of the Dee Estuary, to get the desired effect as a better locator map for the Trent.

Thanks for reading. Jokulhlaup (talk) 17:10, 28 July 2013 (UTC) (I will watch this page for any answer)

Thanks for the quick reply on this, much appreciated. I will try Nilfanion, and then the Map Workshop if needed. Good luck with your football club articles. Jokulhlaup (talk) 17:48, 29 July 2013 (UTC)

Message on cy

Hi. Did you leave a message on my User Talk Page under username: Del♉sion23? BOT-Twm Crys (talk) 23:38, 8 October 2013 (UTC)

Many thanks. You ask: The bot has added lots of articles on English towns, however it has not added any of them to Wikidata, so there are no inter language links. I have AWR (BOT-Twm Crys), but not authorised to upload on WikiData. What do you suggest? BOT-Twm Crys (talk) 19:00, 11 October 2013 (UTC)
Great idea; I'll put it on my list. You're welcome to help out on the Welsh Wici now and again, specially with stuff like this. BOT-Twm Crys (talk) 10:39, 12 October 2013 (UTC)
