If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. File uploads

Pkease don't upload any more images of Draft:Shokz products that you're finding online unless you're absolutely 100% sure they've been released under an acceptable free license or are otherwise licensed in accordance with c:Commons:Licensing. As explained in c:COM:CB#Internet images, it's best to assume that every image you find online is protected by copyright unless it clearly states otherwise, and therefore can't be uploaded without the WP:CONSENT or the copyright holder. Uploading files without any copyright license and then expecting others to sort them out isn't really a good approach to follow even once or twice, but doing pretty much everytime you upload a file is likely going to result in an administrator stepping in and taking formal action against your account (e.g. WP:BLOCK). There's no need for that to happen because all you need to do is ask for help at either WP:MCQ or c:COM:VPC before uploading anything you're not sure about. -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:27, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't realize until after I'd posted the above that you've declared on your userpage that you're being paid for your contributions by Shokz. Thank you for doing that; however, it still doesn't change things when it comes to image licensing. If Shokz is telling you to go ahead an use images from wesbite in the draft you're working on, then there needs to be some type of formal way for Wikipedia to verify this. The easiest thing would be for Shokz to upload its images to Wikimedia Commons itself and either use c:COM:RELGEN or send a c:COM:CONSENT email to Wikimedia VRT for verification purposes. However, before Shokz does something like that, you might want to strongly recommend that it take a look at c:COM:ENFORCE, c:COM:LRV and c:COM:REUSE because once Shokz give its consent for its creative work (e.g. photos, company logo) to be released in accordance with c:COM:L, it's basically agreeing in advance to allow anyone anywhere in the world to download the work at any time and reuse for any purpose (including commerical and derivative uses) under some very minimal restrictions. So, before it does that, Shokz might want seek input from whoever handles its intellectual property to make sure it's a good thing for the company to do. -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:58, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
