Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Dwarbasini may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Ganpur

[edit]

No, the article does not need a heading as you replaced in this edit. What it does need is an indication of what district, state, country the village is in (not just what road it's on), and a reliable source of information to verify its existence. Wikimapia is not a Reliable Source. Please provide a link to something like census data or another official document, to verify the existence of the village. Thank you. PamD 14:42, 12 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

OK I see there is some information in the Infobox: but an infobox is an optional extra, and information needs to be in the text of the article. PamD 14:44, 12 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Ulpahari

[edit]

Hello Deucha,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Ulpahari for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. WMartin74 (talk) 15:55, 12 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summary

[edit]

Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field – please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you.--220 of Borg 15:00, 13 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A vague "reference" to Wikimapia is not a reliable source of information. Please provide one or more proper references to confirm the existence of this place. Please also provide some text for the article: an infobox is an optional extra for an article, but all articles need to have actual text. PamD 23:12, 13 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Naikey

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Naikey requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. 331dot (talk) 16:29, 28 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Deucha. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Mahateerther sesh jatri, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. OccultZone (TalkContributionsLog) 11:46, 9 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Bimal Dey for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Bimal Dey is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bimal Dey until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. OccultZone (TalkContributionsLog) 16:35, 10 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Mahateerther sesh jatri

[edit]

Hello, Deucha,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Mahateerther sesh jatri should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mahateerther sesh jatri .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks, OccultZone (TalkContributionsLog) 16:38, 10 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions are appreciated, but, in this recent edit to Mahateerther sesh jatri, you removed Articles for deletion notices from articles or removed other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates. This makes it difficult to establish consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. KylieTastic (talk) 14:05, 12 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mahateerther sesh jatri. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. Alexf(talk) 15:13, 12 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Tadi

A tag has been placed on Tadi, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

A11; subject already covered in Palm wine

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Lokokabi Lambodar Chakroborty, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do.

Proposed deletion of Cholai

[edit]

The article Cholai has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not meet WP:GNG. Vague Indian term which appears to mean home made unlicensed alcoholic drink, but not enough information to build an article or to redirect to an appropriate target.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
