Devtar Singh - copyright, notability, and author biographies

Hello Devtar. I saw your comments at this page and wanted to talk to you about three aspects.

• You say that the content is not copyright to IDC.com. However, as far as I can see, that page contains identical content, does not attribute the copyright to any other source, and does not release the content under a license compatible with Wikipedia's copyright policies). That means we have to assume that that version is copyrighted. (It may be that it's a copyright violation in its own right, but that's outside of Wikipedia's scope to investigate.) Published material is implicitly copyright, unless its creator explicitly states otherwise. The instructions at this page give details of how a copyright holder can license their work under terms acceptable for inclusion in Wikipedia - but please read on before taking those steps:
• I've now added a new speedy deletion rationale to the page, because I believe it fails to meet Wikipedia's inclusion criteria: it does not state why the article's subject is so important they should have an encyclopedia article about them. This is a lower standard than our notability criteria, which ultimately determine whether articles should stay in Wikipedia on the grounds of whether their subjects have already received substantial coverage elsewhere in third-party reliable sources. Practically this means that unless the article can reference books, journals, newspaper articles, and so on that cover the subject in some detail, it is likely to be deleted from Wikipedia.
• Thirdly, you say that the page is about yourself. That makes it an autobiography, and therefore subject to Wikipedia's rules about conflict of interest: you are strongly discouraged from contributing material about yourself, as it is very hard to do so in conformity with Wikipedia's neutral point of view requirement. If you are simply looking to create a profile page for yourself, please consider an alternative outlet like LinkedIn.
