Hello, Dhammapower, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few links to pages you might find helpful:

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome!

I removed from your talk page content that you also placed at Cho Oh-hyun, as I think there is no point in having it here, once it is in a article. Enjoy. - Nabla (talk) 10:28, 1 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The article Publish new article has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Speedy deletion nomination of Dr. M.K. Otani Biography

[edit]

Hello Dhammapower,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Dr. M.K. Otani Biography for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. OccultZone (Talk) 06:44, 3 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Wikipedia. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Helpsome (talk) 12:35, 6 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing the templates. You have created an article that is predominately an advertisement for the subject using "references" which aren't separate from the subject. The article claims he won an award for poetry but then links to a blog which has the poem. This isn't a valid reference. One of your references is broken. Two of the others are Oh-hyun's own organizations. Wikipedia:Citing sources will give you an idea of what is or isn't acceptable as a reference. Helpsome (talk) 15:38, 6 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia without resolving the problem that the template refers to, may be considered disruptive editing. Further edits of this type may result in your account being blocked from editing. Helpsome (talk) 15:44, 6 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Helpsome (talk) 15:44, 6 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sir please let me know exactly what you want to rectify in this article. This is not advertisement nor for publicity. The Person is very famous in South Korea. Even wikipedia have page of Manhe Prize but not have page of the person started Manhae Prize.

The Manhae Prize article has third party references which are valid references. Cho Oh-hyun doesn't have references which aren't affiliated with the subject. If Oh-hyun is very famous, then please find some third party news articles which state this fact. Helpsome (talk) 15:52, 6 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sir I have incorporated following third party references : http://www.buddhapia.com/buddhapi/eng/temple/korexp/html/bu12.html http://www.undv.org/vesak2011/panel4/11LeeChiRanFINAL.pdf World Literature Today; Sep/Oct2013, Vol. 87 Issue 5, p38 http://muse.jhu.edu/login?auth=0&type=summary&url=/journals/azalea/v004/4.1.cho.html

Please don't call me "sir". The first reference is a broken link (that is the one I pointed out earlier). The second link is an article by a professor at Dongguk University which was founded by the Jogye Order. Oh-hyun is a "Spiritual Master" in this same order so this isn't an impartial reference. The third is a "World Literature Today" reference used in the context that "World Literature Today" published a poem. The fourth just gives translations of Oh-hyun's poetry. It does note that he won a "Chŏng Chiyong Literary Award" but a google search find that to be the only reference for such an award.
If we put aside the first two (broken and affiliated university), we are left with one which says a poem was published in a magazine and one which references an award I can't find any sign of existing outside of that article. Helpsome (talk) 16:30, 6 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Dhammapower. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Seorak Musan Cho Oh Hyun Musan".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:Seorak Musan Cho Oh Hyun Musan}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 16:07, 27 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
