Just to clarify the above, it's nothing personal, but we need to be sure that articles created meet our General Notability Guideline, which requires that multiple mainstream sources independent of the subject must have written significantly about the subject (not passing mentions) in order for it to be potentially be considered notable. Interviews don't typically count, because they usually represent primary sources, i.e. ones that are not independent from the subject. There's also our notability guidelines for film articles specifically. Part of why this is important, is so that Wikipedia doesn't get used as a tool for promotion. Thanks for understanding, and feel free to respond to the deletion discussion. Regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 07:23, 27 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop using Wikipedia as a forum for the promotion of non-notable films. Also, if you plan to create articles (for non-promotional purposes), you need to be sure they meet our notability criteria, otherwise you're just wasting community time. Saying "The film has credible newspaper coverage's expected in a few days" is a ridiculous argument for why we should keep an article. Subjects should be notable first, then we create articles. The relevant guidelines for notability would be WP:NFF and WP:GNG. So far, both sets of criteria have not been met. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:57, 8 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
