2011 England riots
Hello there. There has been a history of edit warring over the infobox location details in 2011 England riots. To try to stabilise this, and raise another closely related issue, I've started a discussion topic here: Talk:2011 England riots#Location details, widespread pattern of arrests. Since you've made many contributions to the article, I'd be grateful if you would come and comment. Thanks. Rubywine . talk 01:29, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
Klaxons
Why would you remove the section referring to Klaxon's sources? Make any changes you see fit to it but don't remove it. I'd expect a more adult and productive attitude from a regular Wikipedia contributor. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Maccoutinho (talk • contribs) 15:24, 1 October 2011 (UTC)
How can it be classified as unreferenced when there's links to more than 10 other articles? Aren't those references enough? We're talking about factual names of songs and lyrics that were literally taken from books, folklore, etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Maccoutinho (talk • contribs) 15:37, 1 October 2011 (UTC)

Los Campesinos! (or general) artist-page rel-date precision
Hello Doc - First time caller, long time listener. ;) About your recent Los Campesinos! single release-date/format submergence - I have a vague recollection of a Wikipedia:Manual of Style, or thereabouts, specification of minimum precision for release-dates, but not a maximum. Are day/month-precise rel-dates positively contra-MoS? If so, I'd be grateful if you could point-out where that's written (I've failed to re-find such).
NB: I dislike the date part of the edit, but don't want to unnecessarily hassle a follow for simply following the rules. – Best, Ian DjScrawl (talk) 12:12, 14 October 2013 (UTC)

DYK for Robert Young (musician)
On 2 November 2014, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Robert Young (musician), which you recently created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Robert "Throb" Young met Primal Scream vocalist Bobby Gillespie at school, and was the band's guitarist for two decades? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Robert Young (musician). You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |
