Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Tagishsimon was:

This is probably close to being good. However some informality in language needs to go, e.g. "Nowadays, sadly there isn't too much..." ... who says it's "sadly"? Certainly not this encyclopedia, which is neutral in tone. Ideally some more of the claims will be referenced - some paragraphs make assertions, but on whose authority?

I have added two citations at the bottom which you can usefully use as refs, and which we could expect to see in an article of this sort; one to the subject's heritage listing and the other to the Atlas of Hillforts. Note that the description in that latter work can be taken and used with or without modification in Wikipedia, since it is licenced as CC BY-SA 4.0 (and with a template acknowledgement in the references section.

Not least, right now, you do not use words I would expect to see: univallate, and scheduled monument, for instance.

(Note that I've pointed WP:Cricket at tge cricket club article in the hope that we can get that over the finishing line).

Imaages[edit]

You seem to be labouring under the misapprehension that South Weald Cricket Club has any say whatsoever in image usage and placement on wikipedia articles. It does not. A CC-BY-4.0 image on Commons can be used without your permission and ditto without the permission of the cricket club. Please do not edit war over images on the South Weald Camp article. --Tagishsimon (talk) 08:16, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the feedback, it's more the fact the image used doesn't actually reflect 100% where the site lies so not representing the full truth, but that's ok with me as you seem some what insistent to use it. --dom672 (talk) 09:40, 30 December 2020 (GMT)
