Speedy deletion of Acu-reiki

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Acu-reiki, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. —BradV 18:39, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article Theory of independence of justice has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Essay, at best.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Drmies (talk) 02:24, 3 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Theory of independence of justice. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Independence of the judiciary. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Independence of the judiciary - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Safiel (talk) 02:46, 3 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Theory of independence of justice, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, then you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion notice, which will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 03:41, 3 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

What Wikipedia is... and isn't...

[edit]

Hi Dr Kale.

It appears that you are struggling to understand Wikipedia's purpose and what it is actually designed for. Wikipedia is a free online encyclopedia, a reference work for anyone looking to find out information about a notable topic. It is not a platform for organising classes, providing study materials or course information, or communicating with students. Whilst Wikipedia does have an organised Education Program, this is designed to help students edit Wikipedia articles as part of their school or college courses, not to provide co-ordination for off-wiki teaching.

It would therefore be appreciated if you could stop trying to use Wikipedia to organise materials for your students. Whilst we welcome expert contributors such as yourself, we also have policies and guidelines regarding the content added and how the site is used; from your contributions to date, it appears that you have not looked over these, although the large blue template at the top of this page provides links to most of the pertinent pages. Expertise in a subject area does not excuse you from following the rules and process of this website when contributing here.

If you want to create an online reference page for your college, then I would suggest using Microsoft SharePoint or Google Docs instead; both are free to use and provide (and permit) information-sharing functions more appropriate to what you appear to want.

Ruthless Hasty Deletions made by you and your team

[edit]

Hi,

Dear Yunshui,

It seems you never take pain to read the posts properly, and spped-jump to the conclusions with your own preconceived notions!

Please NOTE, I AM NOT INTERESTED IN CREATING ANY CLASS.

i AM JUST TRYING TO MAKE A COMPILED INFORMATION AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS.

But you people are so insensitive and ruthless that you do not even

Sensible editors always give breathing space for people who wish to help masses.

When I had put the please share posts under various subjects, DO YOU KNOW that I had created this article only after ensuring that people who are experts of respective subjects, already have easy to use study materials ready to upload??

AND FOR YOUR INFORMATION EACH OF THESE PERSON IS DOING THIS WITHOUT ANY EXPECTATION!

WE ARE NOT EVEN INTERESTED IN MAKING THE STUDENTS KNOW OUR NAMES!

WE JUST WANT THAT THEY GET STUDY MATERIALS EFFORTLESSLY!

This is because, the new textbooks of all subjects published by Mumbai Board have loads of errors and students get confused.

Even many guides created for monitory gains, carry similar mistakes.

As a result, students suffer.

So, I had created this article with a noble goal!

But it seems, Wikipedia has unfortunately appointed many insensitive editors like you!

If you had enough patience, you could have waited at least for the 7 days time mentioned earlier in the note placed before the article by someone else.....

But you are so impatient, that you did not even wait for 7 hours!

Is this the REAL WIKIPEDIA POLICY?

By the way,if the article is not reinstated gracefully, this post and all previous posts are heading towards press.

Regards,

Dr. Rekhaa Kale (talk) 09:30, 12 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, but you are trying to use Wikipedia for something it is not intended for. Noble goals or not, numerous editors have told you, repeatedly, that what you are doing is not appropriate, and have made every effort to direct you to the site policies and guidelines that explain why. As much as you may want Wikipedia to be a platform for providing study materials to your students, that isn't what this website is for. I have directed you, in my message above, to two websites which are designed for the purpose you envisage; I'd recommend again that you use those. If you carry on disrupting Wikipedia we will have no choice but to block your access altogether. Yunshui  09:43, 12 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
