Articles to Improve Selections

[edit]
We already talked about this one in class, so you're aware of the challenges but also potential here. I'll leave it up to you. Etherfire (talk) 16:48, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
This looks like a good one. High importance but C-class. Some traffic but no one taking on the major issues that seem pretty clear Etherfire (talk) 16:48, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
this one is tough. It really needs the help of someone who knows something about the history of concerts and can come in with a heavy hand to make this article into something clear. Perhaps you could do it if you started with looking up the OED history of the word concert and seeing if you can find where the idea comes from. But then you'd have to do a bit of research from there in order to really make the article into something that more people could add to. It needs to be done but I think it's beyond what we want to do here. Etherfire (talk) 16:48, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
List of cover versions of Lead Belly songs, which you submitted to Articles for creation, has been created.
The article has been assessed as List-Class, which is recorded on the article's talk page. You may like to take a look at the grading scheme to see how you can improve the article.

You are more than welcome to continue making quality contributions to Wikipedia. If your account is more than four days old and you have made at least 10 edits you can create articles yourself without posting a request. However, you may continue submitting work to Articles for Creation if you prefer.

Thank you for helping improve Wikipedia!

Moving content

[edit]

Hi! I noticed that you moved a large chunk of content from the grocery store article to the food prices article. You did well, but you forgot to leave a message on the talk page for the grocery store article. You did for food prices, but not for grocery store - otherwise the move looked good and overall the idea makes sense since the food prices article should be the main location for a lengthier section about food prices in grocery stores.

On a side note, nice job on getting the list of Lead Belly songs approved via AfC. I'd discovered his work via the Nirvana cover of "Where Did You Sleep Last Night", which while good doesn't have anything on Lead Belly's version. My only note with that is that you used Wikipedia as a source, however since anyone can edit the site it can't be used as a reliable source, not even to itself. In any case, the guy's life story is honestly amazing - I mean, he sung his way out of prison! Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:36, 8 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Shalor (Wiki Ed) Hi there! So sorry, I think I wrote a message for the Grocery Store article but never hit the post button! I'll get on that right away, thank you for alerting me to that! As far as the Lead Belly move goes, I used Wikipedia as a source as far as where I pulled the information from to create that new article - should I have not cited the original lead belly article? Otherwise all the other citations were there when I received the information! Thank you for offering tips and looking out for me!
