Disambiguation link notification for February 16[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited New Looney Tunes, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Transylvania 6-5000 (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Character Page[edit]

Hi,

I feel I am not reaching out to you clearly,

I can see you are dedicated to the LT Cartoons Character page, but I'm here to not be rude, but to defend why I am re-verting your edits

As this show is meant to be a series of shorts, it features multiple different Looney Tunes characters, with many characters being considered a protagonist. Yes Bugs is the most popular character, but is he the protagonist of shorts starring Porky and Daffy? Is he for shorts with Sylvester and Tweety? No, of course not, but what I am trying to say is that multiple characters are the protagonists of their own individual shorts. Your point with TV Tropes also doesn't make much sense because those have tropes relating to the characters from every piece of media created for multiple different TV shows and films. This page should only matter with how the characters appear in this show alone. Is Granny called Emma Webster in this specific show yet? No, she is just listed as Granny in the credits. Sylvester is never called Sylvester Pussycat as well. As for using Space Jam, I don't want to come off as rude but that is a wild miscalculation in judgement as you are comparing how characters appeared in a single film while this is a TV show that still has hundreds of shorts yet to be aired, each with their own self contained story and no continuity. If you have any counterpoints please feel free to show them, not just link to a TV Tropes page, please be specific. I hope you can understand where I'm coming from, Thanks!

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Looney Tunes Cartoons (season 1); that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.

A tag has been placed on File:ElmerFuddwithPlunger.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Continued edit warring on cartoon-related articles[edit]

Hello Evelynkwapong539. Following a 3RR case from June you've been reverting a lot on cartoon articles. It is fine to have an interest in this topic area, but when your changes are constantly being reverted that is a sign you should be using the talk pages to get support for your changes. There is a risk that an administrator might block you for long-term edit warring the next time you revert one of these articles, when there is no evidence that anyone else supports your changes. I became aware of this due to this complaint on my talk page by User:Noelephant. You can respond if you wish. It is still technically true that after 744 Wikipedia edits, you have never left a signed comment on an article talk page. Try it, it is helpful. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 16:18, 15 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ownership of articles[edit]

Something that I don't see has been addressed, or if it has you have ignored it is your perception that you somehow own List of Looney Tunes Cartoons characters because you created it. Please be under no misconception, nobody owns articles on Wikipedia. Any editor is free to edit any article regardless of who created it. --AussieLegend () 17:15, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Evelynkwapong539, the replacement poster and editor are both currently under discussion, as the original promotional poster is valid for the article and does not require replacing. July 2020[edit]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Looney Tunes Cartoons shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
You are way over 3RR. @EdJohnston: may block you again if you do not immediately self-revert. Jasper Deng (talk) 19:44, 30 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Characters[edit]

Please hear me out on this.

I understand you are enthusiastic about this show, but your constant reverts on the pages are not helping your case. There has been a couple other users who agree that there is no need to categorize and exclude the characters as well as categorize the season as "1A". There are valid sources that characters such as Pepe, Hubie and Bertie, and Taz that have confirmed voice actors and can be organized in a simple cast list. Your reasoning for categorizing characters does not make sense. Using the Tune Squad from Space Jam, a movie that is a completely different continuity, is not reliable in the slightest. This show is made of individual shorts, no need to label one character's importance over the other. It makes the article needlessly complicated. Categorizing the season into letters constantly without a valid source is also very disruptive and your reasoning "just beacuse other HBO Max Shows split seasons" is not reliable at all. I think this show was not going to be on HBO Max to begin with. Calling yourself the "biggest fan" of the show does not give you credibility to revert an article just because another user disagrees with you. You really need to take a step back and let other fans contribute to the article. I hope you can find peace with yourself and I hope you understand. Noelephant(talk) 21:44, 30 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • This is the second time that I have had to warn you about marking edits as minor when they clearly are not. As regards your current block, you simply cannot keep edit-warring at articles. It doesn't matter if you think you are right, there is no excuse for it. If you have disagreements with other editors you need to discuss this on the article's talkpage and gain consensus. If you continue the way that you are, you're going to be blocked for longer and longer periods until you are blocked indefinitely. Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Evelynkwapong539, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Deletion discussion about Boo! Appetweet[edit]

Hello, Evelynkwapong539, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username Lithopsian, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Boo! Appetweet, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Boo! Appetweet.

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Lithopsian}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!
