Barry Malkin[edit]

Welcome (again) to Wikipedia. I see you have an interest in Aram Avakian! Please use the "edit summary" field to explain your changes to articles; this is a routine courtesy to other editors.

Unfortunately, your changes to the Barry Malkin article have rendered it incorrect, and removed a reference. For more controversial edits such as this, you should propose them on the article's talk page first, before actually implementing them. If none of the "watchers" (such as myself) object after a few days, go ahead and make the change. As it is, I'll be reverting your edits shortly pending your justification for them. Best regards, Easchiff (talk) 01:09, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, yes, thank you: the information about Aram Avakian in this context is confusing, incomplete, and probably unnecessary to the Malkin bio. Thank you.

A tag has been placed on File:Aram.Avakian.1.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you have questions, feel free to ask at the copyright question page or on my talk page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 02:21, 20 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm David J Johnson. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Gordon Willis, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial. Thank you. David J Johnson (talk) 19:03, 2 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on “Lilith” requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
