Why? Rettetast (talk) 11:18, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I just think it's unnecessary to write comments without something important to say, but if it is a comment about the user page, då finns det inget jag kan göra, as we say in Swedish.Fågelfors-Glen (talk) 12:02, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
But why do you have to be an administrator? Rettetast (talk) 12:07, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hvorfor skriver du at du må være administrator for å legge igjen kommentarer? Er det noen som helst grunn for at du ber om dette? Rettetast (talk) 12:17, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Västgötska[edit]

Hello, Fågelfors-Glen. Regarding your addition of Västgötska, it looks like the article has been machine translated from the Swedish Wikipedia version, which has rendered it more or less into gibberish. For an article aiming to explain dialectal differences and nuances in another language than that of the dialect, machine translation clearly doesn't work. This article is in dire need of being improved! Tomas e (talk) 14:13, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Editing own user page[edit]

{{helpme}} How can you create a professional side about yourself with boxes ayin "deutschkenntnisse" and such? Much Grateful Fågelfors-Glen (talk) 11:44, 9 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Have a look at Template:Infobox user, copy the code locatated there, paste it onto your user page and fill in the blanks. Regards, Jeffrey Mall (talkcontribs) - 14:15, 9 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Word talk requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. andy (talk) 10:47, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Västgötska, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Västgötska. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Hegvald (talk) 09:00, 14 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Västgötska[edit]

I just noticed that you are importing things from the Swedish Wikibooks site. Just two points: a) You should consider learning IPA and use that in describing the phonology of the dialect. b) The content currently talk about the "Västergötland spelling standards". You need to explain who determined these "standards". Where were they published?

The article still lacks anything even resembling scholarly sources. As I pointed out in the deletion debate, you really need to find and study sources outside the wiki-world. Most good sources are not even going to be available on-line. I am not going to involve myself over this article anymore. Other than pointing you in roughly the right direction, I don't think there is anything more I can add here. --Hegvald (talk) 13:02, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Fornängsskolan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The article appears to fail being worthy of note or attracting notice as the subject of significant coverage in secondary sources. Such sources must be reliable, and independent of the subject. Therefore this article appears unable to meet notability regarding WP:ORG. In addition, the first section after the introduction is in the form of a narrative and does not convey information regarding the topic. It is more in the form of a personal adventure. Truthfully, the first section after the intro sounds like a hoax

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. The article Fritz Hübner has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hi there. Thanks for creating this article, but the English Wikipedia is very strict about requiring reliable sources for all articles and particularly in biographies of living persons. Please make sure that you always add at least one reliable source for any article you create, otherwise you may find that many of your articles will get deleted and it would be a pity for your work to be wasted.. I and another member of WikiProject Opera have "rescued" Fritz Hübner by adding references and expanding it. If you need help in referencing and/or polishing up the English in any future articles you write related to opera or classical music, just drop a note on the talk pages of any of these projects:
