Welcome![edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions; however, please remember the essential rule of respecting copyrights. Edits to Wikipedia, such as your edit to the page Liberal Catholic Church, may not contain material from copyrighted sources unless that text is available under a suitable free license. It is almost never okay to copy extensive text out of a book or website and paste it into a Wikipedia article with little or no alteration, though you can clearly and briefly quote copyrighted text in the right circumstances. Content that does not comply with this legal rule must be removed. For more information on this, see:

If you still have questions, there is the Teahouse, or you can click here to ask a question on your talk page and someone will be along to answer it shortly. As you get started, you may find the pages below to be helpful.

I hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! — Diannaa (talk) 13:04, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello and thank you so much for the information. It’s is very helpful.
My contribution doesn’t have copyright as I’m the proprietor of the Church’s website and in charge clergy authorized by our Presiding Bishop to include info about our church.
We are more than pleased to receive your help in the adding of information.
We will love as well to create a page dedicated to the history and development of our Church and and will appreciate if we can have your help with this.
Thank you so much in advance.

Thank you for your interest in working on Wikipedia. There are a couple of problems with your submission. You cannot post copyright material on Wikipedia even if you are the copyright holder, unless special licensing permissions are in place. That is because Wikipedia aims to be freely distributable and copyable by anyone, and all content must have the appropriate documentation in place before that can happen. Please see Wikipedia:donating copyrighted materials which explains how it works.
The second problem is conflict of interest. Writing an article about your own organisation or that of a client is strongly discouraged, as it is difficult to maintain the required neutral point of view. According to our terms of use, paid editors and people editing on behalf of their employer are required to disclose their conflict of interest by posting a notice on their user page or talk page. I have placed some information about conflict of interest below. — Diannaa (talk) 15:21, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. Maybe I can send you the materials and you can post them for me. As you are not part of our organization it won’t be a conflict of interest. 2601:588:C081:9B60:B927:5081:548C:1FA1 (talk) 15:31, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
no. — Diannaa (talk) 19:27, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That's called proxy editing; instructing someone to edit Wikipedia on your behalf is no different than if you did it yourself. — Diannaa (talk) 19:35, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, FRGUSTZAM. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Liberal Catholic Church, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 15:22, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
