AfD nomination of Bloc Party's untitled third studio album

I have nominated Bloc Party's untitled third studio album, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bloc Party's untitled third studio album. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshellsOtter chirpsHELP) 21:54, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

ok

then can u email me the page--Adam Penale (talk) 22:11, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

Read WP:MUSIC???

Sorry,

but WP:MUSIC does not say, crystal albums are to be speedily deleted, as you did with Bloc Party's untitled third studio album. On the contrary, WP:CSD#A7 explicitly does not include albums. Just a procedural complaint, the article was to be trashed, of course. Gunnar Hendrich (talk) 22:32, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

Oh, I just saw that you were the author. G7 is okay, of course. Sorry to bother you. Gunnar Hendrich (talk) 22:34, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

Speedy delete per G7 huh? Pwn'd. :-P Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshellsOtter chirpsHELP) 00:53, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

Question

How do you get the "load new color scheme" thing on your talk page? It's cool. :P   jj137 (talk) 21:03, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

Thanks. Hopefully you don't mind if I put it somewhere on my user or user talk page? They're both outdated and I've been looking for something to update it with.   jj137 (talk) 18:55, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

ITN clock

We're going red, and I see you added yourself to the category I created. Here's wording for an Aug. 10 date: In golf, Pádraig Harrington of Ireland wins the 2008 PGA Championship, becoming the first European to do so in 78 years. Thanks, SpencerT♦C 21:17, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

Thanks. :) SpencerT♦C 21:23, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

Feeder sound samples

Hi!, I'm trying to get the Feeder article to FA, and need some more song samples, like the ones you uploaded for the individual album pages :). If you could please create 30 second samples for "Yesterday Went Too Soon", "Feeling a Moment" "Shade" and "Just the Way I'm Feeling", that would be brilliant!.

Cheers! Marcus Bowen (talk) 15:44, 15 August 2008 (UTC)

Thanks very much!, looking forward to it! :)Marcus Bowen (talk) 11:33, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

Your signature

I'm a little confused, how do you manage to have it (somewhat randomly) change colour?! Am I just not informed of some script that does it? Hope all is well! —CyclonenimT@lk? 18:18, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

It's all at User:WBOSITG/s. I checked it out once before when I was wondering the same thing. « Diligent Terrier [talk] 18:29, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
Ah. Cheers! —CyclonenimT@lk? 18:41, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

My Sig

Ha, thanks for the heads up. I hadn't realized the typo. It's fixed now. PerfectProposal 13:32, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

WikiProject Good Articles Newsletter

Sorry about the delay. AWB has been having a few issues lately. Here is the august issue of the WikiProject Good Articles Newsletter! Dr. Cash (talk) 20:58, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

ITN update (again)

Can you add the item for Tropical Storm Fay on Wikipedia:In_the_news_section_on_the_Main_Page/Candidates#ITN_Candidates_for_August_17? Thanks, SpencerT♦C 00:33, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Question

I can understand the 'bond sign' bit, but why delete the clearly sourced fact about shooting people during the Goldeneye 64 cut-scene? Lots42 (talk) 08:51, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

RfA thank you

Fox/August 2008, I wish to say thanks for your support in my successful request for adminship, which ended with 82 supports, 3 opposes, and 1 neutral. I will do my best to live up to your expectations. I would especially like to thank Rlevse for nominating me and Wizardman for co-nominating me.

Scetoaux's RfA

Hi WBOSITG, as an FYI, Scetoaux was being coached prior to his second failed RfA. When his first one went down, he stopped his coaching. That is why this one was a self-nom.---Balloonman PoppaBalloon 16:06, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

Yes, I do remember the coaching, didn't realise it was stopped. I'll take a second look at the RfA now, then. Thanks. weburiedoursecretsinthegarden 16:53, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
NP, while I am now opposing, I don't want somebody else to base their support/neutral/oppose on a misconception.---Balloonman PoppaBalloon 17:01, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

New Kids on the Block

Thank you sooooo much for reverting this. Given the user's history, I was attempting to get some outside opinions before engaging in an edit war. You saved me loads of time and work, so again, thank you! Pinkadelica (talk) 04:26, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

Main page redesign

Hello, Fox! Wikipedia:2008 main page redesign proposal was recently cleared of all design entries. You may want to re-enter your design(s), based on the details here. (You can see the old list of designs here). NOTE: A survey was conducted on what users wanted to see in the new main page, you can see the results here.
