Use of proper sources, and "common names"[edit]

Hi. While it's great that you're adding new articles, you seem to be using non-technical sources for your information, meaning that some of the information you're getting is incorrect. For example, "Animaldiversity.org" mistakenly lists a family "Dynastidae", which does not exist. There is a subfamily Dynastinae, but it is a subfamily, not a family. "Animaldiversity.org" is not what Wikipedia characterizes as a reliable source. Likewise, there is a very specific formatting for taxoboxes that allows them to link directly to the accepted taxonomic hierarchy (which would eliminate errors like "Dynastidae"), and if you don't know how to do this, I can help. Also, unless a "common name" is widely-known and used more often than the scientific name, the scientific name is always the preferred title for the article in Wikipedia, and the "common name" should redirect TO the main article. If you don't know how to do this, I can move the articles for you. Dyanega (talk) 18:37, 24 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I was not aware that "Animaldiversity.org" was not a reliable source and that it lists "Dynastidae" as a family even though it is a subfamily. GalacticPlanet (talk) 21:04, 24 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

S3-373 moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to S3-373. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Ibjaja055 (talk) 21:26, 9 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Sky Country Elementary School requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Notice

The article Sky Country Elementary School has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable elementary school. There is no evidence that the subject meets WP:NORG or WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. References you used in Jintasaurus[edit]

I just reverted your edit to add two sources. First website "Prehistoric Wildlife", is completely outdated website that usually don't update information dozens of years, and often oversize animals on diagram. Second website "The Dinosaur Database", is just copied information from somewhere and images from other websites. Look at this page[1] for example, images by fringe researcher David Peters (paleoartist) shown here, showing how this website is unreliable. Do not use these references, Ta-tea-two-te-to (talk) 08:14, 10 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
