Regarding your edits to Commonwealth of australia

[edit]

Please edit one of the appropriate existing articles, for example the ones listed at Outline of Australia, instead of overwriting the redirect with the incorrect capitalization. I am sure that one of Wikipedia's existing article covers the topic that you are interested in. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:40, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Re your message: I reverted your change because an existing article, such as Constitution of Australia, is a better place to address your editing interests than the redirect. Your editing of a redirect was not going to be the proper place for the long term. Redirects are for assisting people in finding the topic that they were looking for but happened to make a mistake in the spelling or capitalization in this case. The redirect Commonwealth of australia exists so that people who did not capitalize Australia in their search are sent to the correct place. Redirects are not meant to contain any actual content. They point to the correct article. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 07:08, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Re your message: Both Commonwealth of Australia and Commonwealth of australia along with many other variations such as Australian Commonwealth, The Commonwealth of Australia, and Australia (Commonwealth) all redirect to Australia. If you believe that Commonwealth of Australia is a significant enough topic not already covered in one of the existing articles, I recommend that you bring up your concerns on the article talk page for Australia or Wikipedia:WikiProject Australia, which is a centralized location where editors interested in Australian topics can coordinate their work, explaining why you feel that a separate article is needed. Another interested editor may be able to assist you in finding the correct existing article that covers the subject that interests you. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 07:30, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
