Helpdesk

Hi there. Just a quick note to say that I have replied to your question on the helpdesk :) ·Add§hore· Talk To Me! 21:58, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Forum!

Sorry, I didn't get what your comment means!? Did I make a general discussion!!!??? I know the rules well, and I know Wiki is not a forum and the talk pages are for the discussions aiming the improvement of article. Thank you --Wayiran (talk) 17:52, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

It's my mistake, I think I chose the wrong template. I meant to reference your removal of a secetion at Talk:Iran Pro League. Thanks, Genius101Guestbook 17:54, 7 February 2009 (UTC)]
Ok, I removed that comment, because that was for 2007 and now the name officially has changed to "Persian Gulf Cup". I wanted to make a "requested move" for the article, but to avoid confusion, I removed that comment. If you want, delete this section. -Thanks --Wayiran (talk) 17:57, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
All right; next time you might want to state something like that in the Help:edit summary. And for the template, using Twinkle, an automated tool, the "Talk Page as a Forum" template is right above the one I meant to use, so I misclicked. Thanks, Genius101Guestbook 18:00, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

No!

The section I've removed is not related with the atricle! --78.180.17.23 (talk) 18:00, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Do not read just the title. --78.180.17.23 (talk) 18:02, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Okay, say me what is related? --78.180.17.23 (talk) 18:02, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

No, it might not be related, but as it was on the talk page, it implies that an editor was asking a question about that. Talk page comments are not deleted, they are archived. Please do not do this again, or you will be blocked. See WIkipedia:Talk page for more information. Thanks, Genius101Guestbook 18:04, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
This is silly, I have asked in Hillary Clinton's talk page wheter we are going to rename it Clinton II, but they removed. So this is same. ok, do not vandalize, or i'm going to edit your language's page with genetics... --78.180.17.23 (talk) 18:07, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

MLB retired

This infobox has been deleted, but the page has been left up as a redirect to the MLB player infobox until all the pages have been changed over. Please don't revert any more changes of this nature. Thanks! -Dewelar (talk) 18:59, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, I just saw that he was retired, and that the infobox was changed to an active one. My mistake! Thanks, Genius101Guestbook 19:10, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
No worries. It's a fairly recent change (about two months ago), which stemmed from a series of edit wars changing various infoboxes from player to retired and back. The Baseball WikiProject folks decided that it would be easier just to have one edit box, and here we are. -Dewelar (talk) 19:18, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

True, but I figured it'd take me longer to move the question than provide a simple answer. Still, if I'd thought the question would benefit from multiple answers I would've (I'd've?) moved it anyway. In the future, I will try to remember to include a reference to the correct desk if I'm answering elsewhere. Thanks for the reminder. – 74  01:46, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion

Please, the next time you consider tagging an article, such as Kadmon, for speedy deletion, at least look at the article history. If you had taken the time, you would have noticed that it was recently vandalized, but that no-one had reverted in the last few miniutes. So, by your hasty actions, you were about to let the vandals win, by getting the article speedily deleted. Wikipedia is not a game about tagging the most SD-tags, but requires a certain fine touch, with contributors that think before using all the fancy tools they have. Thank you for double checking the history the next time you wish to tag for speedy. Arsenikk (talk) 23:19, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

Repeated VANDALISM of Jeff Halevy

Hi. Thx for trying to help protect Jeff Halevy (you reverted a malicious edit), as it's being repeatedly vandalized by the same person, with the same well sourced-info from major publications being deleted over and over. Can you do anything further to help protect the page? Thx!

Clojure talk page

Please stop. If you continue to delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at Talk:Clojure, you will be blocked for vandalism. Genius101Guestbook 21:02, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

Sorry about that. I thought the issue at hand was resolved completely, and I was just cleaning up. 89.0.189.149 (talk) 21:06, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
It's no problem. Normally you would want to archive the comments, or at least leave an edit summary saying that's what you are doing. My apologies, Genius101Guestbook 21:10, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

My precious user page - thanks!

Thanks for the catch. Having my uspace vandalized makes me feel all warm and snuggly, like I'm part of the team :) I'm always impressed with the people who take the trouble to register an account for the sole purpose of crashing in flames. Thanks also to QueenCake for catching the vandalism to yours! Franamax (talk) 22:41, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

You never should have reverted my edit. He is certainly a vegan, and the Wikipedia page for Converge clearly states this. I have been listening to this band for years and I know what I'm talking about. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.206.144.229 (talk) 23:04, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
