Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Gkkim16, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Brianda and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Why Have There Been No Great Women Artists? into Feminist art movement. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 12:43, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The text you added to the above article include passages that were copied directly from your sources. This was detected by automatic plagiarism detection software. For copyright reasons, this contribution had to be deleted. Remember that additions to Wikipedia need to be written entirely in your own words. Please review the Plagiarism and Copyright training module before making additional edits. Thanks. — Diannaa (talk) 19:37, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Gkkim16 I appreciate that you removed the plagiarised content from the article. But please keep in mind what Diannaa shared above, and make sure to review the training module and to write all content in your words. Let me know if you have any questions.
