Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Kongu Vettuvagounder, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.vettuvagounder.org/.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) Speedy deletion nomination of Kongunadu Vettuvagounder Ilaigner Peravai

[edit]

Hello Gobugounder,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Kongunadu Vettuvagounder Ilaigner Peravai for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Conifer (talk) 18:43, 18 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Kongu Vettuvagounder requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.vettuvagounder.org/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The Wikipedia community has permitted administrators to impose discretionary sanctions on any editor who is active on any page about social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties, related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process. If you engage in further inappropriate behavior in this area, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or an article ban. The discussion leading to the imposition of these sanctions can be read here.

Please familiarise yourself with the information page at Wikipedia:General sanctions/South Asian social groups.

SpacemanSpiff 06:47, 1 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • You have already been warned of sanctions pertaining to the caste and social group articles but are paying no heed to this and continuing your disruption. If you do so again you will be blocked and/or topic banned from the area. —SpacemanSpiff 07:54, 4 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ok. I accepted your warning. But i want to know, How i can put the true details in "Gounder" title. If know the tamil language means i can show you the evidence for gounder title from Ancient poem's. Because the Caste of Tamilnadu is based on the "Tholcapiyam", which very most ancient tamil poem about tamil Societies. You taking only the online news as evidence. But they will put any news for money, So please investigate my points and reply me what are the possibilities to remove the reel story.

Information icon Hello, I'm Sitush. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Vettuva Gounder, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Vandalism warning

[edit]

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.

General Sanctions

[edit]

For persistent disruptive editing across multiple articles, adding unsourced or poorly sourced information about castes, I have decided, in my capacity as an uninvolved administrator under the terms of this community's discussion, to impose the following sanction on you:

topic banned from editing about any caste or social groups across all pages on Wikipedia, broadly construed.

This sanction has been logged at Wikipedia:General sanctions/South Asian social groups. If the sanction includes a ban, please read the banning policy to ensure you understand what this means. If you do not comply with this sanction, you may be blocked for an extended period, by way of enforcement of this sanction—and you may also be made subject to further sanctions.

You may appeal this sanction to the community at the administrators' noticeboard and to the Arbitration Committee. You may also appeal directly to me on my talk page, before or instead of appealing to the noticeboard. Even if you appeal this sanction, you remain bound by it until you are notified by an uninvolved administrator that the appeal has been successful. You are also free to contact me on my talk page if anything of the above is unclear to you. —SpacemanSpiff 08:03, 12 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This would appear to be a breach of the topic ban. I am prepared to let it pass for now simply because you may not understand but, really, a ban is a ban. It applies to talk pages, user talk pages etc as well as to articles. - Sitush (talk) 00:16, 13 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Warning

[edit]

This is a clear violation of your topic ban. I understand that it can be confusing, but you are not to edit about castes or social groups anywhere on Wikipedia. Given that you may not have known such edits are also not allowed, I will let this slide, but if you continue to edit anything related to castes or social groups, you will be blocked. —SpacemanSpiff 11:36, 15 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ok. When I can edit that again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gobugounder (talkcontribs)

At this point, you can not. If you edit in other topics and do not show this behavior there, you may then appeal your topic ban. However, you really need to understand our policies first. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 14:38, 17 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
