October 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Alex Lambert has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.twitter.com/truealexlambert/. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 23:53, 1 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Confirmed permission[edit]

I've confirmed your account. You should only need it for a day or two and then you'll be autoconfirmed. Please make sure you're familiar with WP:NFCC, particularly 3A, which has me worried by your reference to images, before you upload anything and make sure you provide detailed source and fair use information when you do, otherwise your images might be deleted. Other than that, let me know if you need anything and happy editing! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 04:36, 4 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! No worries, the screenshots are of different things and will be used for different topics within the article. Gollymolly1010 (talk) 04:52, 4 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:AlexLambertIfICanDreamWebsite.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:AlexLambertIfICanDreamWebsite.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Aspects (talk) 03:26, 7 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Some useful links[edit]

You may find the following links helpful:
WP:GNGArticles usually need to meet this guideline to be notable enough for inclusion
WP:SPAMArticles and other pages which are advertisements are not acceptable and are likely to be speedily deleted
WP:NPOVWikipedia is an encyclopaedia: coverage of a topic should always be neutral. Remember to be especially careful with your edits if you have a conflict of interest with the subject.
WP:VMaterial on wikipedia needs to be verifiable. If you add something controversial, make sure you provide a reliable secondary source.
WP:RSSources need to be published by a third party to be considered reliable, and should not be a blog or user-contributed (this includes wikipedia, social networking sites, etc.)

Sockpuppetry[edit]

You are suspected of sockpuppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Gollymolly1010. Thank you.
