Minor and not-so-minor edits[edit]
Hi Gonzalo corlop! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Machine learning in bioinformatics that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. I'm delighted to let you know that the nominating committee has shortlisted your competition entry Machine learning in bioinformatics for an award. To be eligible for an award, we need you to identify yourself to us and provide proof of your status as a student or postdoc (for example, a photo of your university/college ID). I'd be grateful if you could contact me via email (at alastair.kilpatrick@ed.ac.uk), preferably by Mon 21st June - please also include your Wikipedia user name in your email.
