The article Shubhlata has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. What’s your problem ?[edit]

Dear NeilN You are blocking me repeatedly to edit MY OWN PAGE. May I know what’s your problem ? Gulmoharthejourney (talk) 20:42, 18 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Are you claiming you're Nikunj Malik? --NeilN talk to me 20:44, 18 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed[edit]

Yes darling. I am nikunj malik. And I need to keep a check on my page because people keep messing with it. Also, new information needed to be added. My assistant was doing it. You blocked them. I did it. You blocked me.. Are you appointed by Wikipedia or something ? Gulmoharthejourney (talk) 20:55, 18 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

First, it's not "your page" or social profile, it's an encyclopedia article. You have no more control over it than you would an Encyclopedia Britannica article. Second, please read our conflict of interest guidelines - I'll add more info below. Third, all information in a biography of a living person must have cites to high quality sources (not gossip magazines/websites). --NeilN talk to me 21:05, 18 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Gulmoharthejourney. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. NeilN talk to me 21:06, 18 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Kindly answer this[edit]

So if people mess with information about me, there is nothing is should or can do about it.. is that what you are trying to say ?? And if so then guide me how to go about it pls Gulmoharthejourney (talk) 11:14, 19 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Define "mess with information". If you mean there's factual inaccuracies in the article, you can remove those. If you mean editors are removing your attempts at adding unsourced or self-promotional material - no, you can't stop editors from following our policies and guidelines. --NeilN talk to me 13:08, 19 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

What I mean by messing...[edit]

‘Messing’ means deliberately changing my date of birth. Currently it has been deleted by you . Adding lines like ‘she is arrogant’. Currently my early life & background information has been wiped clean. The personal relations information that you object to is indeed true and there are news paper articles all over to support it. And it’s indeed annoying and shameful that random people can disrupt information on that page, but you won’t unblock & allow me to rectify itnto correct facts. Thanks anyway. Gulmoharthejourney (talk) 13:43, 19 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

First, there's no need to create a new section here with every reply. Just click edit beside a section header to post to an existing section. Second, you haven't identified what factual inaccuracies you want to fix in the current article, merely a desire to re-add the unsourced and self-promotional material. --NeilN talk to me 13:59, 19 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

..[edit]

And also, if there was no content that was meant for advertising. There is media for that. There is personal information for all other celebs. Who dated who and what not... So i dated someone and mentioned that, how is it different ? My personal relationship was listed by someone on ‘your’ Wikipedia for the longest time. Someone deleted it later. I just thought of updating it again. Your issue seems to be that my information mentioned lot of famous names.. well.. all my rounds are famous and a lot of my information revolves around famous names.. I’m not going to feel sorry for that now..

Anyway.. great job blocking the authentic source of information. And even a greater job allowing jealous idiots to update it to whatever they feel like.. THEN YOU DON’T INTERVENE .. THIS IS WHY WIKIPEDIA IS MADE FUN OF.. and nobody really trusts the information you give out.

Gulmoharthejourney (talk) 13:52, 19 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The "Wikipedia is garbage because it won't allow me to write what I want to write" tactic won't work here. Ironically, Wikipedia is not trusted in part because people like you add unsourced material trying to promote something. Material slips through, but volunteers do their best to remove content like what you tried to add because it doesn't meet our policies and guidelines. --NeilN talk to me 14:08, 19 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
