Good question, and thank you for asking. You need to provide a source with every image you upload (for example, you took it on your own camera, or you copied it from a certain website) - and you also need to provide licensing information - is it public domain or copyright? If it's copyright, you also need to provide a fair use rationale because Wikipedia has rules limiting the use of copyrighted material.
