Speedy deletion nomination of Full Moon (video game)[edit]

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Full Moon (video game) for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

:I'm writing this here just because the page has been deleted, while I was working on more to my response against its speedy deletion. I refreshed another tab and saw it gone, so I quickly copied what I had saved in the Talk: page.
Contested deletion
This page is not unambiguously promotional, because I didn't make the game, and everything that I wrote about it is factual, documenting what goes on in the game. Addendum: Since I'm the creator of this page, I won't delete the "speedy deletion" thing, but here's something from the criteria: "This criterion applies only to articles about web content and to articles about people, organizations, and individual animals themselves, not to articles about their books, albums (these may be covered by CSD A9), software, or other creative works." Hameltion, I did not know that this article, this version I suppose, made it through DYK and was on the front page. Perhaps you can have a look at this version, which I spent some time on, trying to clean it up. These are of course the articles that advertise us and the quality of our content, but this did not pass muster and shouldn't have been passed. The first sentence already contains two errors. "M-tp M-TP is the first compilation album released by Vietnamese musician Sơn Tùng M-TP and his own record label M-TP Entertainment"--it is not the first compilation; the infobox says this, and so does the second paragraph of "Background and packaging", even though the first paragraph there still claims it as the first. Also, the "and" in that first sentence is ungrammatical: the author meant "on". The second sentence misuses English: in "the compilation is composed of", "composed" is not the proper word. "...new mixes for controversial ones of which instrumentals were accused of plagiarism prior to the release" is well-nigh incomprehensible. I could go on, but grammar and semantics aren't the only problem: the "Background" is basically a rehash of the artist's entire career, with some lip service paid to the plagiarism issue which here, for this album, doesn't seem to be an issue anymore.
There's a lot more wrong with the article: it contains an enormous amount of trivial information and lacks proper verification in many places--search for "Không Độ green tea" and you'll find that verification here consists of the album booklet and a video link to the commercial. Look at note 62--a list of YouTube links. I could go on but I trust you get my point: this article was in no way ready for prime time, and it didn't take me very long to cut it from 42k to 25k and have a better article. I see that you did not make a single edit to the article; surely you should have seen the grammatical errors in the first paragraph. I'm pinging Cwmhiraeth as well; they promoted it based on your assessment. BlueMoonset, perhaps you are interested too. I hope you will accept this note in the spirit in which it was intended--as positive criticism. Take your time when you do a review and do it right. Maximum reservoir volume is different from the structural volume (volume of the materials used in the structure). Sardar Sarovar's structural volume is only 6.82 million cu.m which is far off from the list.

The NYT article is about the expo, not directly detailing the subject; the rest are obituaries and death notices which normally are not considered reliable sources sufficient to anchor the pagespace. Totally get it. See this Google search which turns up a plethora of sources covering his receiving of the Creu de Sant Jordi Award, the second-highest Catalan civilian honor. This one turns up online things before that, including profiles: [1][2][3][4]. It is entirely possible the the Creu de Sant Jordi is sufficient to presume notability, but I'm not familiar with the award. I'd like to chime in that the way you ARE engaging with those editors in that process is heartening. Most of those arguing delete are vastly experienced, but you seem to be holding your own. Good for you. For my part, I'm thinking the Oxford Press book source presented by the ever resourceful NorthAmerica1000 and the as yet unmentioned Southern Cultures article Vimala Cooks, Everybody Eats also available in gbooks put this subject past AUD and GNG. I think the bar is a bit higher for CORPDEPTH. It's something to be mentioned that the subject has been mentioned in the press from its early days right into the current news. But add in Dick Gordon and Grist and my personal take is that this passes GNG. The purely local coverage stays because it fills in the gaps (and the Triangle is not itself a tiny locality). NorthAmerica1000 makes a very good point about the quick AfD and the potential BITE effects in this case, because you seem to be here to contribute to the pedia. All that said, Alex makes a valid point above; there's no rush and it's going to be what it's going to be. Keep fighting the good fight. You've earned my admiration today.
